I look in the freezers and all I can see is Turkey. Sliced Turkey, chunked Turkey, SMoked Turkey and even some Deep Fried Turkey. Way too damned much Turkey. I'm getting tired of Turkey.

My wife pulls somes sliced smoked Turkey out and sets it to derost so now it's up to me to decide what to make for dinner. Again I go to the fridge and Freezer. Hmmmmmm.

Aha, here's some Gravy. Here's some Onions and Bread. Okay now I have an idea. Open faced sandwiches.

I heat up the gravy in a small pot. WHile this is heating I slice some Onion and toss it in the Frypan with some butter. When the onions have started to turn I add some more butter and the Turkey as well as a bit of the gravy. I let it slowly heat while I toast slices of bread and butter them well.

When the bread is ready I layer it with the Turkey and onions then cover that with Gravy.

Chow Time!!!!

I rarely if ever get tired of Ham. Hell I'll even eat and enjoy Ham Byproducts.

Oh and I think Ham is the next layer down in the freezer.

We just bought another one to have New Year's.

It's a nice flavor change from Turkey.

:)

I never get tired of smoked turkey sandwiches. Or smoked ham, either. :)

I've got a muskox stew bubbling on the stove to pour over brown rice. And there are big marrow bones in it, too!

Ham omelets. Ham on sandwishes. Pasta sauce with ham. Ham and eggs and potatoes. Fried ham and noodles.

The lands may vary, the animals may vary, but christmas food lasts longer than the christmas trees, no matter where you are...

They make turkey [and chicken too] frankfurters. The non-beef franks taste much like the beef franks. It's just a matter of the spices they use.

No kidding huh?

Maybe tomorrow I'll dig a bit deeper and find some Ham.

Tried them. They aren't bad.

Unfortunately that doesn't help much when you have a freezer filled with Turkey.

Hmmmmm, maybe I'll grind some up, add some Garlic, Onion and Peppers then make patties out of it. That might work.

You might also try some cajun style spices. Oh yeah!

We've bought Turkey brats at the grocery store that are incredible. How about some turkey chorizo?

Boy, what I wouldn't give to taste some turkey! I'm allergic to it and have severe respiratory distress when I eat it. I haven't had turkey in over 10 yrs and really miss it! *Takes a good deep breath, just trying to smell Cat's turkey and gravy*
