I'm trying to decide if I want to tell my company to piss off or accept a less than wonderful transfer. Problem is, it is a great company and the transfer is a step toward a promotion. On the other hand, the commute will be hellish, the store is f*#@ed beyond belief, and I'm only getting an extra $100 a month to cover gas (not even close to what I'll spend).

I am just getting ready for bed, I just turned off the tv and after seeing the lotto #'s ... its obvious I did not win the 50 million jackpot !

My goal is to move up at least two levels and this store will aid that. Unfortunately, it may require more than I can put into it. Now is not a good time, personally, my mother is declining rapidly (for those that don't know, she is dying of ALS) and my time and resourses are already strained.

It's a tough call. Long term it's the right thing, but I have serious obligations in the short term that cannot be overlooked.
