I must have slept wrong last night. I woke up this morning with a pain in my left shoulder and neck. I knew what was coming and tried to stave it off by working on those muscles. I wanted them to relax and settle down. Unfortunately it didn't work at first.
The tightness in my shoulder went to my neck which led to one of those rare migrains I have to deal with. We're talking pain that makes even coherent thought unlikely. Thankfully I had already started the intervention and my wife continued it even as I just sat there in pain. It took a while but we got the muscles in my shoulders and neck to relax and the pain started to recede. (I've been dealing with this since I was sixteen thanks to a drunk driver.)
Now lets make my day even more fun and interesting. The weather here has decided that it's not fall. In fact it has decided that it would be a good thing to regress to mid August. We're talking a noon temp of 93°. It's too damned hot to work outside on anything. I started working on the carbs but stopped when the sweat was dripping off my face into the carb bodies. Just sitting on the patio with a fan blowing on me was causing me to sweat enough to sweat through my leather belt.
It gets even better. At 1330 some idiot took out a pole down line from us. No juice. That means no A/C. FPL, the Fire Department and the local Police were on scene quickly. The accident scene was cleared rapidly and FPL did it's usual bang up job. Power was returned to our area four hours later. (The temperature inside the trailer went over 100° quickly.)
So now I'm sitting in front of the computer with a dull ache in my shoulder and neck. The trailer is slowly cooling off and nothing has been done on the carbs today.
Oh well at least the beer is still cold and dinner is going to be cooked on the grill.
