I'm challenging you!

I always try to do at least one good thing a day online and off.

I'll say thank you to you for starting this thread. We can all use help with our karma.

And -

Thank you KM for being so forthright.

Thank you Mistress for taking a risk.

Cudos to you Dillinger. You often say important things in a way that makes it easy to pay attention. I don't see any shit stirring in your posts and I like that.

Thank you Deb...for making the world safe from trolls. ;)
(Couldn't resist, the devil made me do it.)

Hope everyone's having a good day.

Wont yesterday do LL??

I think I'm fresh out of good deeds for today.

Someone on an email list sent the email below one day last week. I kept it, and forwarded it to my best friend in the world with the words to tell him I love him. I don't know if the author would appreciate the letter being posted at a porn site, but I think on this thread to have people "do good," he might understand and approve.

I just came home from the hospital...
Two weeks ago a good friend who was in "perfect" health began to complain about headaches. He went to the ER and they admitted him for observation and testing. The headaches got worst and after several days he passed out from the pain. To make a short story shorter, his brain functions began to decrease and plateau and decrease and plateau. Within less than two weeks he died. Peacefully, thank God. And being an organ donor, he will make a positive contribution to other lives that are in the balance.

We have a mutual friend who is standing beside his bed and I am holding her. She hits his leg a couple of times and says "How dare you leave me before I could tell you I love you?" They are/were "bestest" of friends and yet they had not shared these important three words with each other.

The point of this rambling is that we all have people in our lives that are important to us. Frequently we take it for granted that they know how we feel. Some of us have a difficult time expressing strong emotions. However, it is important to the sayer as well as the listener to express the feelings that we have for the other person. Both benefit by stating out loud how you feel about the other person.

Let the people in your lives know how your feel about them before it is too late. Once it is too late, it is too late for you as well as them.

Hope you are well and life is headed in the direction you wish it to be.

I just a few minutes ago sent off an email to Roger. We've been corresponding about a couple of topics. So, I replied to his inquiry and then decided to include some of my feelings about him as a person and his contribution to the board. I did this because I realize I've been in a pissy mood lately, and this was an effort to balance myself a little.

Strange how this thread is here today. Nice idea.

Although my first love is being a smartass, I have to say that I love to make other people feel good. I believe that what comes around goes around. I also realize how little effort it takes to make other people happy sometimes. In the process (bonus!) I usually end up feeling pretty darn good myself.

Cheyenne...you are a peach. :)

Nicky...love ya, babe (((huggles and snuggles))) ;)

Geez, I did my nice thing in real life by fixing my friends entertainment area as between her and her boyfriend they fucked up the cords and everything.

Simply, thank you very very much. You're a sweetie. :)
