So, I am now the owner (sort of) of a shiny new laptop and am back on the internet. I was on to some extent before but not as me. I got some pretty strange PMs while I was gone though, I'll tell you. Some guy wants me to dominate him. Was that a mass mailer?

In other news, I have been sick for 10 weeks with a devil cough that turned into bronchitis twice, a sinus infection once, perforated my eardrum, and laid my immune system flat for a while so I was getting all the viruses from the kiddies.
You know it's bad when the doc's office tells you to try echinacea to build up your immune system. I'm mostly better now.

I see that gracie is gone again. sigh. Someone should nail that girl to the floor.

Maybe becuase I am haven't been around Lit long but this seems to be happening to alot of the people here. We either take a vaction or have something else come up that keeps us off.

Yay! Knew about the marriage but not the engagement.

Yeah, a third of it is my birthday and Christmas present, and I'll have the rest paid off to Daddy-o in the next two months. I owe about $1200 still.
I got an educational discount on it though. And it has a fingerprint reader and a titanium top cover, which I didn't request. Just lucky, I guess.
It's an IBM Z60m. Or may be 261m. I forget. But switching over to the fullsized keyboard is a trial.
Mostly it's so expensive because I got the 9 cell lithium ion battery, plus an extra, an external charger, extra memory inside and a memory key. But I'm planning on keeping this baby a while. And I got the discount on all of it.
