I'm back and happy

I'm back from my pilgrimage to Vermont with my wife. She got to see her family for the first time in three years and put to rerst her grandmother. (101 years old bless her.)
Froze my keester off for a week but it was worth it. When I get back I'm happy to see they had posted my latest story and I even had some comments on it. One person, (George,) liked it, the other two who didn't bother to sign their names panned it. (I am discounting them because we all know and love them. The first thought the husband was a wimp and the wife a whore. The second is the shouter who is not quite literate.)
All in all I'm happy. Now I just have to go over and see how many people actually read it.

I forgot to mention

I forgot to mention this was also one of the longest weeks in my recent history. Not because of the people involved, (My in-laws believe it or not are great.) but because for a week I was denied the enjoyments of the flesh. Namely beer and sex. (theirs is a dry house and they have this little problem with their children having sex under their roof.)
I did get some writing done though. 19 pages on a story of a man recovering from a foot amputation with his wife and her friends.

I took some pictures, mainly of scenics though. Couldn't get my wife to agree to some more intimate shots. (Because of her parents.) When I get them downloaded I'll send you a couple if you wish. (The only one of me was taken by her father when I was up to my waist in the West River removing a Snag. Talk about shrinkage, yowch. Good shot though. Me in Jeans, Sneakers, {Unseen beneath the water,} Flannel Shirt, Leather Vest and "Cowboy Hat". Near froze certain parts of my anatomy off but I cleared that snag in record time. {I think my testes were hiding somewhere around my shoulder blades for the rest of the day.})
