Well those with threads outstanding on my stories obviously did (sorry, guys )

Um, some sort of explanation in order, I guess:

Basically, just a big pile of real life cropped up around May June time. Nothing very serious, but I was becoming unreliable in a number of areas (not just chyoo) and also suffering from some writers block. So I decided to just take a bit of time out (from Chyoo not from real life). Figured I'd be gone a month. Ended up being three.

My criteria for returning was that I would return when I felt able to write threads on afairly regular basis.

So here I am. Approved a whole set of threads this morning and submitted a bunch this afternoon.

Anything changed whilst I've been away?

Yes, welcome back AW!

As I said in my feedback, welcome, hope to keep your ladies going, though I've fallen further behind in my threads than I'd like due to some unfortunate hardware problems when switching to a cable modem. So, ironically, instead of going faster, I was stopped for nearly a week and a half, and I'm not sure all is quite well yet. So, I'm still around, jakelyon and company!

hehe, yes. I think the main problem is to get a cd burner to enable me to clear my hard drive since I think that's about the only original thing left, and the memory's getting finicky.

Also, to Aaron.. I had BBCAmerica on as I was typing last night (another addition with my digital cable package)..all I have to say is its good the Dykesbeck Brits aren't in audio stories. I don't know how much this Yank could take if they had the lovely accents of the young lass on 'Homefronts', I believe it was

Now there's a question. What happens these days about editor's feeding back to their authors when approving a thread? Or can we not do that anymore? Somebody on another discussion thread said you could see comments by clicking "Edit Thread" but that doesn't seem to work.

Just recently I have had comments back from editors via the rating system. Is that the way to do it now?

Not sure what Homefronts is. I did have a little wander around the BBCAmerica website (a weird hybrid channel that mixes some BBC programmes with some from our commercial stations). I found Home Front - one of our many garden makeover programmes, but that's introduced by two blokes, so not sure who the woman would be.

BBCAmerica is great. Never even knew it existed until it featured on an episode of 'Sex & The City'.

--I think they meant to hit the 'add new thread' to the thread in question. The comments will show at the bottom of that new page.

--As far as the TV programme, you are correct, it was the gardening makeover show. I'm not sure if she was one of people getting the makeover or the blonde that helps out in the show since I just had it on as background.

Please be patient for my new threads as I have yet to get back in the swing of things and try to go in order of approval, with about sixteen threads involved, I believe.

You're quite right, Add New Thread does work What a weird place to stick the Editor's comments. Thanks.

We have an endless supply of make-over programmes (and whole channels devoted to them since the advent of satellite & cable). That one may very well have a blonde presenter for all I know. But I've never watched it (maybe I will now!) and I couldn't find her anywhere in the credits.

No hurry for new threads. I owe you about 19 anyhow. I'll just try to return to previous form in terms of apoproving them.
