So, I clicked on my internet explorer expecting to see the page that usually pops up and some other page shows up instead. I must have clicked something unwittingly.
I want my old page back. How do I do that?

Do you know how to get to your normal page? The address?

Type it in, or find it via the history option, then go to options and where it says Home Page, click [Use Current].

In IE, go to Tools > Internet Options

In the 'General' tab, there's a text box that shows the name of your hompage, that IE goes to when it loads up... type the proper addy in there

Some sites that give you pop-up adds will also change your homepage to something if their choosing. It doesn't happen too often, but if it does, just try to avoid whatever site did it to you.

It probably will depend on the version you use, but there's a control panel that lets you set this and lots of other options. Try under View...Internet Options. With Netscape it's under Edit...Preferences. If you can't find it, try Help and look for Home page.
