Welcome and good luck on your story. It should be up within a week if it makes it through the screening (don't worry, it's not overly strict). If you have any problems, just ask here or in the Editors Forum. There are some excellent writers and volunteer editors who'll be happy to help if you need it.

Actually Des, a week is being optimistic lately. Seems the vetting process is getting swamped with stories - my last non contest entry took 10 days to get through.

I've seen it that long before, but it's been a while. I haven't been reading anything, so I wonder if there are that many new submissions or if it's just the Lit folks being busy (it should be allowable for them to have a bit of a life ).
