Hi, I'm looking for someone who wants an illustrated story written about them. I'm enjoying writing stories for people a lot lately, they're typically about 2,000+ words so I'd need at least 5 pictures for an illustrated story.

Let me know.

Is this something you post to Lit or is it just between you and the photo submitter? Also, are the photos supposed to illustrate what is described in the story or are they just an accompaniment to give a visual of the characters?

Just between the photo submitter and I, unless they want it put onto Lit. Whether they describe the story or are an accompaniment, is dependent upon the story. I really love challenging myself, and I thought this would be a good way to do it. I'm a shy pervert so I love trying to get people hot and bothered, something I could never dare to do in my day to day life.

P.S. For those interested, send to my email. I shall have your story returned to you promptly. From there, it's up to you what happens with it. ;)

If the story is submitted to Lit, as a reminder, it must meet the pic posting guidelines. Also, publically posting E-mail addresses on Lit is a violation of the rules.

Solution

Hi,

Some time ago I was in search of a solution to this same dilemma. Photos
are their own problem on the net if adult in nature. Rule #2257 (Fed Obscenity Law) and all that.

I found a free software called FotoSketcher that can be downloaded and successfully used by just experimenting & playing around with it. You basically take a jpg or bmp image and convert it to a pencil or pen & ink drawing, or an oil or watercolor painting by using the free software. If you use a photo editing software to modify the photo first to where it doesn't look quite so much like the original model and then open it in FotoSketcher the finished rendering will appear different enough to say that it was a conceptual rendering. (meaning out of the artist own mind) Thus no 2257 documentation compliance problems.

If you are a more advanced user you can modify porn images in this way I've described to convert them to graphical illustrations of your story. Several images can be cut to set on separate layers to form a photo collage. Then that photo collage is converted to a drawing, painting etc. But this is something that can afford a writer, who isn't so much a graphic artist, a means to illustrate their work and work around the 2257.

Fotosketcher seems like it might work pretty good. Norton gave a few warnings on the download page, but as best as I could tell, it was because of the ads on the page. Norton had nothing to say about the actual download file.

Do you have any examples you could show? Preferably of people. I'm curious about the ability to hide who the person is without blocking the face.

Thanks,
Jenny

Re:

Hey Raven :)

I'm on a laptop at a WIFI right now and it will may be tomorrow before I could post an examples.

I'll assume writers here would want to do this on the "cheap" so I'll mention a free PhotShop like clone called "The Gimp". But there are other free image editors where one can use layers as well as use various artist tools to re-render facial features. Or they could cut out sections with a lasso tool and paste them into a collage of a face with the various layers before collapsing them for the finished image. Then touch that up with the artist tools.

I got into writing XXX paperback novels years ago when I was on Katy Terrega's site. The need for cover art was why I came up with this rapid prototyping technique. At the time I was seeing people literally using Ken & Barbie dolls posed in doll houses and then the brightness toned down to near darkness just to illustrate some cover art. Of course I'd take screen shots of that and open it in an image editor to lighten it up to see how they were going about their illustrating.

As for FotoSketcher, I've been using it for awhile. Of course I run spy bot, ad aware, and other scumwear ap's and whatever they may have deleted out of
FotoSketcher....it still works.

As for editing faces to change them.....the better your PhotoShopping & art skills are the better you can be at reality creation.

If you divide a face into four quadrants and remove the upper right quadrant
from the image and then "flip horizontally" the upper left quadrant to produce a clone and then layer it into that upper right sector then you can often modify a frontal face to where it doesn't look like the original. Faces aren't perfectly symmetrical and by flipping the quad's around you can really change the appearance, and by using FotoSketcher to convert the work to a shaded coloring book image it could work well for erotic story illustration. You may
find it easier to just draw and paint over the face some to change it. A smudge
tool can be adjusted to morph areas effectively too. You can always use the
"undo" & "redo" tools to change it back and forth.

If it is a 3/4 view of a face, then you can take a photo of another model
and fit it in similarly. Then once the work is done touch it up with artist tools to where it looks right. HINT: Blow your work up big to work on it and then
re-size to the size you need when ready to save. It can reduce any imperfections to where they aren't so visible if you avoid detail. When you are OK with your work it's time to open it in FotoSketcher. If you're making a pencil drawing even more detail may be edited out to where the original model won't look anything like the finished work and for all practical purposes it could be some artist drawing from their imagination.

Some time back I used to subscribe to this erotic letter called "Private Lives" which was illustrated with what looked like pen and ink drawings. This FotoSketcher could do the same from old photos. I figured they were using something then like Adobe's "StreamLine".

I often go around taking photos for interesting scenery & backgrounds at various times of the day and year. Thus I can create a collection of images collaged together and rendered into a drawing. And for illustration purposes at a site like Literotica where aspiring writers who want to embellish their work with illustrations, or those artist wanting to illustrate for those writers, then this can be a solution for them.
