Illustrated Q

I'm wanting to post a illustrated poem, but I need some help ;) so again, I turn to the poetic lit gurus for assistance.

The poem is on the illustration its' self. If I upload and preview I cannot see it, just a bunch weird scripting codes—so, preview may not possible eh? That's fine if I can't but, how do I know if the poem was uploaded? Do I have to put more then the title, category, my chosen uploaded file and my little check mark at the top saying a-ok to lit guidelines. I'm wondering if I need to had anything where I normally put the poem.

If it helps any, the picture file is JPG extension.

I thank you all in advance :)

Dear neonurotic:

The best, time-proven way of submitting said graphic poetry is:

  1. Send the image as an attachment to submit@literotica.com with "Title of your poem - ARTWORK" in the subject line and saying:

In attachment: yourfilename.jpg - Artwork to be added to "Title of your poem" submitted by neonurotic through the regular submission form.

Make sure the file is 450 pixels wide or less and under 40K
  2. Next, submit a poem in the regular fashion, but simply write, in the body of the poem:

    NOTES:
    - artwork yourfilename.jpg submitted via e-mail by your-email@web.com
    - please note that the poem is entirely an image and that no text is involved.

Don't write anything else, don't upload any files.

Neo dear man

what lauren said works--I've posted my illustrated poems that way. It may take 2-4 days but it works.

And honeychile, I know you come from blues country. You should write a verse for the group poem. :D

Thanks

I thank you Lauren—now the real test is to see if I follow directions correctly and have my illustrated poem show up in the next 3 or 4 days :D

But of course Angeline, I'm already fixing to do the blues... ;)

40k ?

Dang.. I have a 435 pixel wide - with 82kb illustrated poem I can't use. Any suggestions to make the file smaller?

Thank you...

Increase the JPEG compression level. Or post it here as an attachment, or e-mail me and I'll do it for you.

Much obliged to you Lauren, in making that 80k well below 40K.
