Illustrated Poetry

If the illustration is separate then the text, a 2-step poem, then you need:
  • 1) submit the text the normal way via your user's browser, with selecting illustrated poetry and pasting your poem text in the box
  • 2) in the notes section put: artwork yourfilename.jpg submitted via e-mail by youremailaddress@emailhost.com
  • 3) submit that
  • 4) go to your email account and upload, attach your image like you were before, submit@literotica.com. keep your attachment file no bigger than 40k and 450 pixel wide.
  • 5) in the subject line: Title of your poem - ARTWORK
  • 6) in the email text box put: yourfilename.jpg - Artwork to be added to "Title of your poem" submitted by PrincessErin through the regular submission form.
If you follow that, you shouldn't have any problems because that's what I do and my illustrated poems get posted every time.

If your poem is a 1-step illustrated, being that the text is part of the image, let me know. A little different procedure to submit those.

MS word file

I typically combine the text and photo in a MS Word document and then submit the file using the browse button on the submit page. You still need to make sure your photo is small enough ( see the FAQ about the size of jpg you can use). When I submit I put a note in the comment box naming the DOC file and indicating that the photo is located in the file where I want it. If you are using office 2007 I recommend saving the file in the old 2003 or earlier format.

I hope this helps.
