I'm going to get incredibly emotional. You're wonderful friends. You are helping me up out of this awful down I'm stuck in right now.

I was disappointed this morning as I moved into the day ward at the hospital. My surgeon's early morning patient had delayed him in the OR and he had another one that was still occupying a bed in the Cardiac ICU, so I was cancelled. Not rescheduled, cancelled. I'm still screaming down one of the slide rides in this carnival.

Since the onset of angina and chest pain, the cutter needs my cardiologist to perform a heart catheterization procedure to ensure that I'm not suffering any arterial blockages or additional valve defects so I'm "pencilled" in on the 16th, next Wednesday for the cath and the OR is very tentatively booked for the Monday after, the 21st.

I can't begin to thank you for your beautiful hearts in this and I can only pray that I haven't tested them too far to ask for your continued support.

Poetess, I am grateful for your empathy and warmth.

Neo, I hate false starts, but I'll be in the race again, I know.
