The average woman is 5'5", and the average man is 5'8". That's 65 inches, and 68 inches. I don't know what it is in cm. I'm 5' and 3/4". And yes, that's short. Not as short as shy, though. (By 2 inches, but they're an important 2 inches!)

I use the I'm too short to reach/do/push/manage excuse dozens of times a day!

Tis works even for mowing the lawn, prolonged pushing on the mower handle which is set too high can give me extreme back and shoulder ache.

Short people often ask taller people to reach the top shelf for things, but I have never been asked to reach down to the bottom shelf for a tall person because I am nearer lol

Mind you if i live too long the oestoporosis will make me even shorter.

I was 4'11" once now 4' 9 1/2" but I usually round it up to 10"
