OOC = Out of character. So now ya know.

For example, Sparky would be OOC if he said, "Whoa! Dude, check the rack on that babe!" or some such Bill 'n Ted thing.

OOC stands for ....

usually OOC is used in a role playing environment to indicate

Out Of Character (as opposed to IC- In Character)

which means the comments after an OOC- opener are refering to the poster in person amd NOT the character he is playing - when in IC-mode all comments actions etc are for the character played and are NOT a reflection of the "real" person behind it
