Gee, Didn't Anakin's pick up lines suck?

Amadala: We used to swim to that island it was fun.
Anakin: I DON'T LIKE SAND!!!!!!

Oh, and if you're on Coruscant don't worry about a little thing called MOMENTUM. It simply doesn't exist. If you fall a long was and land on a vehicle, you'll be ok. JUST DON'T HIT THE GROUND!!!!!

Well

At leat it was better than episode I!:D

What about Yoda!

After his wicked lightsaber fight he grabs his walking stick and starts limping off! hahaha:confused:

Yeah, w/o the stick yoda was a real badass.

Oh, btw, you can't pick a lock like that. You need to do a lot more motions than portman did. She and Lucas have no idea how to pick a lock.

Yoda -rebel without a cause!

Jango fett was pretty cool! -btw was there an over amount of decapatation in that film? or was it just me!

Jango was cool.. but, I totally saw it coming.

Speaking of Decapitations... why didn't they actually shoot a Tusken Raiders fight sequence? It would've helped out the pacing for the movie a bunch! It was dragging and neaded that! Plus Tuskensrule.

I think it was the slaughtering of women and children that made them decide not to shoot it!:D

And btw why did his mother die AS SOON as he came to rescue her!!!!!!!!!! she been there for a bleeding month god damn it!
Samuel L rocked as Mace Windu

I thought maybe MPAA had to do with that scene not existing or shown(maybe). There might have been too much violence to squeeze out the rating.

What I want to know is this....if Jango lost his head....where did it go? Boba walks up and hold up the head/mask. Why didn't Jango's head fall out or something?

The guy sitting in front of us was rather annoying. He was very verbal about what he liked and didn't like. By the end of the movie, I was ready to punch him in the head.

What was Anakin doing calling out his mother's name during a wet dream? ;)

I hated the part where the young girl squirted poison from her ass. Brought back too many bad memories.

Great storyline, great cliffhanger at the end, Yoda and Mace rocked...but

HOW HOT WAS NATALIE PORTMAN!! SHE IS SOOOOO SEXY IN THIS MOVIE LOOKING AT HER IS LIKE LOOKING AT THE SUN, ANYTHING MORE THAN A BRIEF GLIMPSE IS TOO MUCH FOR THE EYES

I didn't see it and I probably won't. Ever. I saw the first Star Wars movie back in college and I think bits and pieces of another one after that. They aren't high on my "must see" list.

Um... ok.

This was more for plot and criticism.

We just heard him say "No" a bunch. My buddy leaned over and said "No! Don't touch me there, Mom!"

oh.. I should mention Jar-Jar.

I loved that he had very little time in this movie. But, he was used fairly decently in this one.

He was a tool. hahahahahahahahhaha

The clone wars start because of Jar Jar.

Tool.

I personally hope a stray laser beam strikes him in the next film!.
or
someone strangles him with his own tongue!

Wow i could start a ways to kill Jar jar binks thread.........:D

Lets talk about some of things we need figure out from the movie.

Like...
when anikin went to his step dads(?) house to find his mother, he meets his step brother and sister. Are they the old couple who is raising luke in ep IV? Its was supposed to be his uncle and aunt right?

The god damn death star. I forgot all about that fucker. Its already built by the time EP IV starts.

Alot of Jedi died. But all the rest have to die in the next movie. Only Obi wan, Yoda, Darth Vader and the sith lord the emperior are left. Also in the orginal stars trilogy everyone keeps saying that Jedi dont exist, that they were a myth. It seems like everyone, everywhere knows of them in these movies. These can only be 20-25 years before starwars begins.

I want to watch EP IV again and read the opening credits. I remember it was real long and it spoke of the clone wars. Who's good enough to try to find a transcrip of it online?

i'm glad there was no comic relief character in this one. Jar Jar and the droids had very little say or do. Good. Its about the story line and the action. Say the laughs for the kids and take them to see Spy Kids 2.

Who wants to throw some light on the whole Syth situation. Ok, there was Dooka and the main bad guy we know as the emperior in later movies. But they kept talking about some guy who died 10 years ago. Was he Dooka? Or was there another Jedi that turned bad but died before the clones were done.

And how is it that the Syth Lord is setting on the counsel and none of the jedi can sense it. They did say he was clouding their minds. They can sense bad intentions in people. They also can sense when a large amount of life is lost. So they should have been able to detect a large amount of life being born too. Like the clones. Yoda did say that they must be blind if they couldnt detect the making of an army of clones.

Enough babblying. I give it 8 out of 10. Good movie, go see it.

Yup yup. According to Lore, Owen is supposed to be Obi's brother... but also according to lore, Obi met Anakin fighting in the clone wars, cos Anakin was a great pilot. Only then did obi feel that Anakin could use the force.

That's to be answered in Ep III

Not nessicarily, they could see it as the planet having a population boom.

Anakkin

Anakin would dig this site. Plenty of perverts here for him to commiserate with.

I just got back from seeing Star Wars. I loved it. :D I think I might be easy to impress though, I'm willing to look around a movies weak spots.

There were quite a few parts that made me roll my eyes, mainly the love scenes. I'm thinking that the stuff we find cheesy today will make it a classic later though. Isn't that how these things work?

My favorite part was the execution scene in the stadium.

I remember her saying something like "Now I'm complete..." I assumed she was holding her strength up waiting for Anniken(sp?) to return. A little cheesy, but I see that in quite a few plots.

I liked Jar Jar in this movie. Perhaps because he only had, like, 10 lines. I chuckled when Amidala's crew, not the word I'm looking for, said, "If only Senator Amidala were here." Looking straight at Jar Jar. I was like, "you said it." I liked this movie,(not a classic, but, better than ep. 1.) And, I had heard that it was nonstop action after 1/3 of the movie. My question, "WHERE WAS IT?" The only nonstop action was 45 minutes before the movie ended. I also would of thought Jango's head would of disappered. Maybe Bounty Hunters are like Jedi, and, disapper when they die. Yoda kicking ass was AWESOME!!!!!!!!! LOVED that it was FINALLY back to dark material. After Anakin's Mom dies,(why she took a month, and, all of a sudden, BAM,) was stupid. It would of been MUCH better had she ALREADY been dead. Stupid Melodrama. GREAT to hear The Death March, again. Annie's hand at the end*Chills* And, the explination for 3PO's not remembering Tatoone because he was attached to a droid, was a bit of a stretch, but, HIGHLY comical. And, I was VERY skeptical of Christopher Lee playing a bad guy,(although, he played a good one in LOTR's,)but, was pleasantly suprised. He was GREAT! The only real horrible acting came from Bobba. He may turn REALLY evil, but, he seemed like a snotnose twerp in this. And, Jango wasn't all that impressive, either.

LOS ANGELES, May 19 — “Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones” grossed an estimated $86.2 million over the weekend, after bowing Thursday with $30.1 million, for $116.3 million in its first four days of release. The three-day weekend tally ranks at No. 3 among all-time new releases, behind “Spider-Man,” which opened with $114.84 million two weeks ago, and “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” with $90.29 million last November. But worldwide, the four-day gross for “Clones” soared out of orbit for a total of $183 million.

Fuck the critics!

does that mean it did better than spidey? It did 116 in 4 days and spidey did 114 in three. I guess it depends if you count thursday as a weekend day. I dont be i bet it will reach well over 500 million world wide by the end of June.

And, the explination for 3PO's not remembering Tatoone because he was attached to a droid, was a bit of a stretch, but, HIGHLY comical.

That wasn't Tatooine d00d, that was Geonosis. 3PO must have had his memory erased because in 4: a new hope he tells Luke that his first job was working on some type of loaders.

The only real horrible acting came from Bobba. He may turn REALLY evil, but, he seemed like a snotnose twerp in this. And, Jango wasn't all that impressive, either. [/B]

Definitely agree with you there, the kids acting was annoying.

And didn't Yoda and Mace discuss about how their ability to use the force was diminishing?
