What type would you go to?
Would you go to the kinds that reflect your natural sexual history or do you go for ones that mirror your fantasies?

fantasies, more likely than real life.

I'm writing one now, that is in NO way a reflction of my life. I've even been encouraged to submit it when I'm done. Who knows, it might just happen.

I wrote a brief one this morning based on a reality type experience that left me feeling...umm...;)

anyways...that led to this question...I don't write about what I don't know about but sometimes I do like to read about new things.

I read anything that KillerMuffin writes first. After that I read about gay men or the extreme stories.

Personally,I write about stranger encounters and hopefully will expand what I write about. I dont stay within what I have experienced,as in truth it hasnt been that much.

For some unknown reason, incest stories (well-written) turn me on. I have never encountered such a situation, but the thought is certainly intriguing. Also, a good lesbian encounter because I like to know how women make love to other women--that's the way I like to do it! So, that's my answer.

Well written BDSM ones (for the most part).
;)

They reflect my sexual history and my fantasies.
What could be better?

I read because I'm breathing.

Other than a few topics that I find personally offensive, if there's a story with real characters instead of cardboard cut-outs, I'll read it.

My reaction to a story will vary depending on my mood and how the story hits me at that moment in time.

Okay; i'll give you those.
A double vanilla latte is sometimes almost orgasmic, too.

Coffee??

Ewww.. The whole whip me, tie me, pirce me thing I can handle but drinking coffee?

That's just wrong.

Coffee is to a double vanilla latte what a child's red party balloon is to a hot air balloon, sweetums.

Now excuse me please.
I have to go take a shower cuz Ruby's representative is on her way to my house at this very moment with a fresh batch of Ruby's Famous Russian Tea cookies and i want to be all sparkly clean when she gets here.

Cath,

The first stories I usually read are the BDSM stories. There is something so erotic reading them because I have always been fascinated with this type of lifestyle. To be able to give yourself to your partner in this way just captivates my senses.

After that, it's pretty much something along the lines of a wife giving herself to another man. Mostly, I will usually try to read into the title and try to figure out the story and take it from there.

It's just there are so many to choose from...I've had to put my glasses on every now and again from the sheer strain put upon my eyes. lol

Enjoy the rest of your day, All.

I am more motivated to seek out authors I know. I'm a writer so my principal concern is reading something that is well-written. If it isn't written well, there is no getting off. I'm not particularly swayed by gimmicky titles and genre labels are great indicators either.

If I simply want to get off, my first choice isn't reading. If I want a sensual, erotic experience then reading is an option. I like fantasy and sci-fi erotic fiction. I like outrageous scenarios that are clearly well-thought out, developed, and executed with style and skill. Genre is inconsequential with two exceptions: incest and hardcore s/m. Extreme pain kills all arousal for me, and relatives fucking isn't erotic to me either.

Good topic. Enjoying the reads.

Peace,

daughter

I personally go for the Lesbian site here on LIT. I get dripping wet reading about these women getiing each other off.

Usually I go to rankings, then category, then I look for the "laurels"- So I go for popular, well written fantasys.
Then again, Before I do that I scan the new stories for anything by a favorite author.

Even Killer Muffin can't write 'em as fast as I can read 'em.

My thoughts

I like the exhibitionist ones, non-consent, then bondage. If they are not well written, I get out right away.

Nessus has some of the best I have read. For reality, sheer erotic response. She is good, very good.

fantasies...definitely fantasies....in fact, usually fantasies that I have no desire (or possibility) of fulfilling in real life. An example would be lesbian stories, usually my fave.....voyeurism stuff is always good......
