If you were a Wal-Mart giftcard......

where do you think you'd be hiding?

I know this is the wrong forum for this topic, but I feel so out of place posting on the GB.

Hubby and I bought our girls each a $50 giftcard to Wal-Mart back before Christmas. Plus, each of them pre-paid phone cards. We can't find them. Can't remember for the life of us what we did with them. I'm hoping they didn't get thrown out with the trash after we wrapped gifts one day; that is the last time I recall seeing them.

This really irks me. $100 in giftcards sitting around somewhere....that is like losing $100 cash! Grrrrr.

Sorry....had to get this off my chest. Thanks for "listening".

Mine showed up in the file that I put my paid bills.

Guess I thought that if I put them there, I would remember..

Umm....you mean that people file paid bills? lol

Well, we get around to it eventually. We just put them in a pile and every few months we file. Get the idea that we are very unorganized around here? Probably why the cards are missing....

editing to add: it will be a really nice surprise for them if we do find them or get them replaced....they don't know about them yet! Hey...their birthday is on 16 Jan....we could just give them for birthday gifts!

Walmart is usually pretty good at replacing items.

Just looked at the Wal-Mart website. It says that the cards can't be replaced or refunded if lost. I'll ask in person next time I go, just in case.
