If you think the election was stolen in 2020, why vote in 2024?

‘Halderman Report’ Reveals Critical Vulnerabilities In Dominion Machines

View Source | June 19, 2023 8:05 am

  • The 2021 Halderman Report, released this past week, lays bare a litany of “critical vulnerabilities” in Dominion Voting Systems’ machines, currently being used in a number of states, and in all voting locations in the U.S. state of Georgia.

  • Compiled by Prof. Alex Halderman and Prof. Drew Springall as part of the lawsuit Curling v. Raffensperger, the newly released though still partly redacted report explains how ballot scanners ad ballot marking devices (ICX), “can be exploited to subvert all of its security mechanisms” and that “ICX could be used to change the votes of individual Georgia voters.”

The reason that the big lie has worked so well, to get a vast majority of Republicans and some people elsewhere to believe that the election was stolen, is because the capitalist establishment have rigged the system for the super rich billionaires and they clearly worked hard to get Trump out of office. So in a sense, the election was stolen, because the system is rigged in favor of the super rich.

In short, for a big lie to work it must be shrouded in truth.

Sorry BB, having a vulnerability is not the same thing as switching votes.

The Democrats and Republicans serve the super rich, and the system is rigged in favor of the super rich. That's the problem, and why so many people can easily believe in a stolen election.

You’ve got it backwards. In the late 1700’s only men with property could vote. In the early 1800’s with western expansion and new states joining the Union, the property requirement was dropped.

The Electoral College was rigged to serve the slave owners. They were the super rich in those days.

That system remains to serve those who think they should still be owning slaves - it is their heritage.

The only reason I will vote in 2024 is if I need to keep trump out of office. I would vote for a hair lip monkey if I had to.

And the irony is that the Democratic Party was the slave owners' party.

this in from Georgia:

Georgia’s State Election Board won’t take over running elections in the state’s most populous county, ending an investigation that had sparked fears of partisan meddling.

The board voted unanimously on Tuesday to end its performance review of Fulton County nearly two years after it had begun.

“The question is, are we going to draw a line in the sand and say let us go, be done with this, and leave us alone, which is a little bit of what I’m hearing... or are we going to say it’s time to change?” said State Election Board Chair Bill Duffey.

Fulton County officials noted that the review panel found no violations of state law or rules across nine elections that it monitored.
two years, nothing found...

Yes, that was before the Dems passed the Voting Rights Act that granted those black people rights to vote, and Nixon enticed all the outraged racists to flip to the Republican side and get him elected.
Do you really think that it was that simple? It was very complex. The deep south in 1968 voted for George Wallace (a pro-segregationist Southern Democrat who went third party and split the New Deal coalition), not for Richard Nixon. Hubert Humphrey won Texas in 1968. I dispute the establishment narrative about Nixon in 1968. If anyone was employing a "southern strategy", I think it was Barry Goldwater in 1964 rather than Richard Nixon in 1968. Nixon's strategy in 1968 (a chaotic year in US history) was that he represented the "silent majority" of decent Americans who were sick of the violence and upheavel in society and who wanted it all calmed down with "law and order", using this to attack the liberals and "over-aggressive" push of civil rights on one side, and to attack the segregationists on the other side, with Nixon posing as the strong man balancing between the different sides.

In 1976, the deep south and evangelicals solidly went for Democrat Jimmy Carter over Republican Gerald Ford. In 1980, Carter then lost the evangelicals pretty big against Ronald Reagan, and only Georgia of the states in the deep south stuck with Carter in 1980.

The point that I was making before is that the Democratic Party were once the slave owners' party (therefore against the majority of Americans), and after that became the alliance party of Jim Crow segregationists and northeastern liberals (again against the majority of Americans), with the northeastern liberals starting to dominate from Kennedy onwards, but the Democrats have been a big business party (i.e. for the billionaires) since they stopped being a slave owners' party.

The Democratic Party have a link with the labor movement because of Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal, and, to a lesser extent, Lyndon B. Johnson's "Great Society" and civil rights laws. This created new illusions in the Democratic Party that Eugene Debs in the first couple of decades of the 20th century was seeking to stop. Debs said "The Democratic and Republican Parties represent capital. Only the Socialist Party represents labor". FDR defying big business for so long and winning 4 presidential elections in a row created new illusions in the Democratic Party as the way forward for the labor movement. The Democrats have largely been betraying us ever since.

Allegations of election fraud against two poll workers following the 2020 election were found to be "false and unsubstantiated," say Georgia investigators.

I’m not sure if it’s the twenty-seventh or twenty-eighth time that point has been made on this forum.
And it's not in dispute that Nixon employed the Southern Strategy in 1968. His campaign staff called it that.

And the irony is that the Democratic Party was the slave owners' party.
WHY? WHY? WHY?
Why repeat this dumb and tired adage and equate it as any standard that applies today?
This really speaks more to your character and lacking awareness.
It's insulting. It's whitesplaining. You can do better. Just say both parties love $$.
Black folks roll there eyes at this insinuation as if maybe they're too dumb to grasp American history.
It's a fact that riding a horse once was the fastest way to get to town.
I hope that helps you next time you find yourself at a car dealership.

In short, you almost got it...but it was the super rich billionaires clearly worked hard to KEEP TRUMP IN office.

Which candidate did Rupert Murdoch endorse again? Elon Musk? The Koch Brothers? Hint; it was... Not Biden.

It was the super rich who benefitted from his tax cuts (NOT the poor and middle classes, whose taxes actually INCREASED in many cases after Trump's "Tax Cuts") as well as the lax regulations of buisnesses that again, benefitted large corporations at the expense of the greater public good.
