Yes, and now the Governor of FL has expressed a willingness to consider repealing it. All because Disney couldn’t control their woke impulse. They now have a PR nightmare, cultural divisions among employees, and possibly face adverse legislative actions. Very poorly managed company for sure.

If you’re not aware of the controversy Disney is currently embroiled in, you’re not keeping up with the news. It’s been covered by the Washington Post, NYT, WSJ, and other print outlets as well as all the cable news channels. The CEO is facing calls for his head and the Governor of Florida is relishing the coverage as he cruises toward re-election this fall. The Woke culture management has fostered over the years set them up for this train wreck.

It's Disney. I recall I once visited Epcot, there was a kiosk showing videos of how customers answered when asked what they hoped from the future, and the phrase you heard most was "more love." I'm sure a lot of customers gave much more disturbing (and much more interesting) answers, but those were edited out. Disney's corporate culture is no doubt simply in line with its optimistic happy-fun-times public image and Miss-America-Pageant mentality.
