If you like Monty Python and Star Trek...

Brilliant!!!

damn, I wish I'd thought of that. :D
What I found hard to believe was that someone so far behind the contemporary cultural curve as me would the the first to post it on the AH. Well, come to think, that's the original TV Star Trek which goes back to the late '60's when men were dudes, women were chicks, and I was in my very brief prime. So maybe it's not so strange.

I posted it in the "Keeping the AH in Stitches" thread a couple weeks ago. :p

Worse, I recognized every second of every of clip.

Ditto.

But I blame my family for untold evenings of forced Star Trek watching as a child. ;)

I can't get the link to work. However, I would urge anyone who has not seen the early Star Trek to view the episodes. Whenever I, even today, encounter a problem, I simply ask myself,"What would Spock do?" I do that, it works, problem solved!

Fabulous! Thanks.

At least you're young enough you didn't have to watch Davy Crockett. :p

Star Trek? I'd have been thrilled to be forced to watch Star Trek!

Instead, every Saturday night after bath time, my brothers and I were lined up on the couch, like firing squad victims, and forced to watch HeeHaw.

*sobs*

I'm thinking of starting a support group.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! :D

Damn, this connection sucks. I may have to wait until I return home before I can enjoy this properly. :(

Still laughing over this, Rumple, thanks.

Funny thing, my 7-year-old son (who possesses a growing knowledge of Monty Python) recognized the song immediately and came over to see what I was doing. He knows nothing of Star Trek, of course, but still loved the clips.

I'd love to meet the characters who put this together.

:cathappy:
