"If you get a vaccine ... you're immune. So act immune."

— Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) on why two masks aren't necessary after vaccination

@GovRonDeSantis "If you get a vaccine, the vaccines are effective, you’re immune. And so act immune. If you tell people the opposite... then what’s the point of going through it?”

Ugh
Obviously the Guv hasn't done his research. The vaccines are designed to prevent hospitalization and death (95% effective) but you can still catch COVID, especially with all the different variants

Got my second Pfizer shot this week and I will continue to mask up and socially distance. But now I'm willing to expand my social circle and reconnect with old friends who've also vaccinated.

The spring-breakers on Miami Beach sure were acting immune.

Yet COVID is only spiking in places that are under the jackboot of Democrat governors. Wouldn't you think that the Part of Science would draw some conclusions about that? Or do they love the control too much?

There are SO many people refusing to get the vaccine that the only way we will end the pandemic is through traditional herd immunity.I'll bet we'll be lucky to vaccinate 50% of the population. That's not good enough.

It's all a leftist hoax, the USA constitution guarantees american immunity to the trump flu, so don't worry about it. Do what the Brazilians are doing, take a principled stand that guarantees your freedom, it's working for them.

Tilt. The state with the worst of the Covid at the moment is Michigan, where the governor has been stripped of power by the Republican legislature to close anything down.

It's the REPUBLICAN political response and stupid Trumpettes that are keeping the United States from shutting Covid down.

Cases are climbing in Florida, particularly in Miami-Dade County.

Whitmer is still doing all she can to clamp down
