I would like people to respond to this is they have had the chance to meet someone that has pm'd them or just by looking at their profile. I had the good fortune to meet a man through literotica. He pm'd me first, then we IM'D each other for two months. We then met in person, it was such a great experience for me. He was kind, sweet, very gentle and a very warm-hearted man. I really found a good friend in this gentle man. So, I want to know if you would be able to let yourself go enough and be real to yourself enough to meet a new person. I hope this dear man responds to this as well. I am certain he knows who he is, DON'T YOU?

i have met someone from lit, and not only was she beautiful, but completely awesome and inspiring as well, one of the best people i will ever know, and hopefully our friendship can continue wherever her travels take her.
while i don't wanna run to the door at every solicitious PM, there are a couple others who i would love to meet in RL and spend time with. but it's because we've had more than just the pervy interaction, we've already seen that a solid friendship would exist between us.

I know someone who has met several people from Lit and I, myself have met a few. I enjoyed each and every one of them. I am planning on meeting one again in about 3 months or so.
We started with pm's and then went to ims and then I went to Reno and we spent a week together. It was great and I am going to do it again.

Yes I met a very nice woman through lit. It was by chance that we would be in the same area at the same time. We had a great dinner and wonderful talk. SOme day , maybe another meeting will arise.
There are are a few more wonderful ladies i'd like to meet but due to the distance it isn't possible at this time. SOme day maybe, and making friends is the start.

I like her intelligence as well as her sensuality (and her laugh ain't bad either) and I think, as she does, we have a lot in common.
Having said that I do not believe in rushing her. I would prefer waiting and continuing to chat on a regular basis . . . but the other truth is that I would never want to disrupt her current relationship and thus cause havoc to her.
Just my 2 cents . . .

unlike most of the responders, i haven't met a single person from Lit. one day i'd like to though. it's the one place where i see a lot of people who are sexually uninhibited AND intellectual (in most cases). it seems like in the real world it's hard to find these traits in the same person.

I haven't yet met anyone from Lit, although there are some I would like to get to know better and perhaps meet someday. It's amazing for me how much of my real personality carries over to the online world, I don't try and become some sauve Don Juan online cause that is not who I am. I'm that typical nice guy, just a smiggen shy right at first but within just a few minutes I can open up quite a bit.

I haven't been on Lit long enough to have met anyone yet, but I can say unequivocally that I wouldn't hesitate to meet anyone that's I have communicated with either through PM, thread, or IM. There are some very amazing people on here and that would definitely make it a worthwhile experience.

we have met a couple of people from here..good guys..though mostly there are players on here and thats the only reason they post...to play with people..a couple of guys have just got in touch agin to say hi...looks like we might be playing again soon!!

God, I have meet so many very good friends here on Lit in real life...
Approximately 30 people. Most of which was a excellent experiences. I have gotten a few surpises. But then again that's life. I consider these people to be my extended family. I have BBQ's several times a year and it's open invitation to the people on are Spring of 2003 in the North East thread. It's good food, good friends, and good times. We have people attending from all over the North East. Just a gathering of great people. Although, I will say I have yet to encounter a romantic encounter... Guess that happens to other people not me! I only meet the ones that talk a great story...

I think that meeting in person is one of the finest benefits being part of the Lit community can offer. I mean, it's so amazing to meet someone you've talked to for so long and finally be able to connect with that person face to face, eye to eye. So, of course I would do it though I haven't had the pleasure yet. I'm planning on it though. Just trying to get the kinks worked out.

I've met someone from Lit and had a relationship with her for almost a year. We've been through all kinds of stuff together including an engagement and now we're just friends and barely talking.
Still, she's an awesome person and I don't regret the time invested in that relationship. I'd do most of it again lol.
