"IF you can blow, you can play...."

I can play, but I can't hit any of the right notes... Is that bad thing?

I'm just learning how to play

the harmonica.

hey liontamr..just keep playing the wrong notes along with the radio and the odds are that eventually they'll play a song that's in tune with the one you're playing and then you'll be playing the right notes...ok, i know that's a stretch even for me.

hey perkey, did you get a full sized one like i suggested and how's it coming...or going as the case may be.

jailbait..there's also single, double and triple tongueing :D
(tongueing looks weird spelled out...is that right?)

I got a Hohner in C.

I'm not too comfortable with the tongue method<notice how I sidestepped that spelling issue>, so I've been using the pucker method.
Ode de Joy is sounding pretty sweet.

It's a little different when you're not holding it like a cheeseburger. I keep having to take it out of my mouth to look at the numbers.
<sigh>

thanks for asking, though.

Thank gaaaaawd I can already read music. That's all I have to say about that.

freaks me out that honers, one of germany's finest old names in harmonicas and other instruments are now being made in china. oh, well...:rolleyes:

I saw that and I think it was

"If you can blow and suck, you can play!"

and the response to that was

"I'm a natural!"
