would it matter?

Would anyone really care?

Many of you who know me and are my freinds, know how to reach me vis a vis a number of avenues.

Where am I going with this? It is definitely NOT a blatant plea for attention. I have been thinking of posters who have come and gone, some long time board standards, some who were here for a short while. Some I never said one word to, directly, but loved reading their thoughts or their one liners.

For some, I realize I might have told them how I liked them, respected them, or even enjoyed their posts.

As the board is ever changing, I am suggesting that today, in the aftermath of Thanksgiving, let those who you seldom pm with or even post with know if they are someone you might miss.

You can do it here, or send pm's, but just in case, they never return, let them know!

Life is too short to leave things unsaid.
Lit life is much shorter! ;)

I'd care. I know I don't post much, but I'd still miss your threads. I do often read them, even if I don't repond. You're an enjoyable part of my day. :)

When I disappeared from Lit for a while, I had someone email me out of the blue to see if I was okay.

That was something special, especially since I did not even know this person knew that I existed.

Reaching out is a good thing that I do often.

You both should know, that you would be told if I was leaving and have my e mail address.

<hugs> to two very special women.

I'd miss my friends, but old aquaintences have been forgotten, hopefully for the betterment of all.

Of course it would matter. You're one of the good ones around here MissT.

I think it means you enjoy Lit and are presently overcome with the need to share your appreciation for this warm feeling you are having, particularly in light of the Thanksgiving & Christmas media pushes being in full swing and tugging hard on your emotions.

Or were you into the sherry before lunch again?

Either way...it's cute.

Very sweet.

Good morning all.

Good Morning, Ms. Fruit!

I must say that I'm enjoying the Bettie Page Collection.

I dated a gal from Vancouver for a couple of years that had the same physique, look, hairdo and saucy kinky aura about her as Bettie, so your avs make for many smiles here.

Thank you.

Lance

Why thank you kindly Mr. Castor. I'm enjoying her as well, although I only have a few pictures from which to choose. If you come across any in your travels, will you send them to me?

Lucky Vancouver girl. :)

is thaat a copyright infringement?

probably.

But, it is a different issue than whether or not you have posted copyrighted photos in your post.

If this were my last post, I'd like it to be something poignant and memorable.

SINce he keeps his pm option turned off

Yes, SINthesist is someone I admire for his conviction, his sense of humor and the occasional softness that slips through his posts.

Amid all that troll like behavior is a pretty interesting guy.

MissT thank you for your PM... I have sent one to you in return.

But I would like to say here how much I admire you as a woman and a member of lit.

I've always found your posts to be interesting and unbiased, which is quite rare here. When emotions start to rise, you can be counted on to calm them down with common sense and logic.

Thank you being part of Lit.

Miss T, I would notice if you were gone, and I would care. You are one of the nicest, most sincere people here, and you have always stood out. Then again, there's another place I know I could reach you at, although I'm not there very often.

I do understand where you're coming from with this thread, even though it's not a cry for attention. There are times when I wonder if people would notice if I didn't post for a while.

i know what you mean some miss taken but i think its often the posters that can't get in touch with you but would really really miss you that makes that sort of thing the most sad

of the people that have taken recent breaks from lit i don't know how to get in touch with any of them really yet i still do deeply miss them

It wouldn't matter

Little Sister:

What you and I have SO transcends Lit., I
'd always be able to "get ahold of" you. ;)

Friendship is a wonderful thing - one simply picks up where one left off.  :rose:

Ahh and you know where I live!

;)

MUAH, luvvie! :rose:

MIss T, I understand these feelings because I have them myself, and struggle with it more and more frequently. I've left other boards before, and hear from friends from time to time in emails and by phone, but its not the same as a board, and getting to play with them, and interact over many different topics.
I think I'm getting to a point of making a decision, but until I do, just know that I would miss you horribly, but ofcourse I would respect your decision. I relate to you so easily, and thoroughly enjoy you.

The bit you said about life being too short to leave things unsaid is something I always believed in, too...but its not always the case.
