If There Were Such a Thing as…Reincarnation…?

I have had a full life, no complaints, no regrets, none whatsoever.

I saw about half the world, loved far more women that my share, had a half dozen children and a couple dozen grandchildren and my health remains normative. Did everything and more than I ever thought from humble beginnings…

And as purely a fantasy and maybe a story, though I doubt it, if I had a choice to be reincarnated and live another life…what would I choose?

I watched a film tonight, again, for the third or fourth time, “Space Cowboys”. Not gonna spend the time to list the actors and actresses nor the plot, if you know or want to, you will.

But I thought, as I watched this film, what a marvelous job of selecting actors and actresses, to enhance the story line.

And I thought of the film industry in general, the photography, the audio, the scene setting, the music, the dialogue, all of it and I thought…had I another life to live I would like to be a part of the film industry.

My fantasy idea had some parameters, I guess, and I share them with you: you retain all that you lived and learned in your previous life, all that you did and lived and created, remains, nothing is lost.

But…create your own…for example I would rather not come back at all if I had to be a female…like it or not, I like being male and all that that means.

But your horizons are unlimited, although I would hope it would follow my concept for sake of continuity and conversation, but it need not.

Curious as to how others perceive the idea…

As an aside to Space Cowboys, Clint Eastwood, Donald Sutherlin, Tommy Lee Jones and James Garner, hold a near and dear place to an entire generation of film watchers for hundreds of performances and it surely was almost a movie made just for them…

Interesting idea, Amigo.

I've crammed a good few lives into this one, inventor, architect, patissiere, 'the arts', property developer, writing, friend and lover.

Starting over... I'd have got a better watch. Timing is everything.

Thanks Neon, yeah, one could see it that way, do it all over again, but with better timing, yeah, I can see that...but...nah...I want a whole new set of circumstances, I think...next time around...smiles...

I think I'd like to come back with:
1. a better sense of self;
2. without the "welcome" tattoo on my forehead; ;)
3. different/better abilites; &
4. different/better means to improve the world around me in the most practical & realistic ways possible.

Gawd, now I sound like a pagent participant. No, I'm not gonna say "I want world peace" & you can't make me.
