If there was no LIT...

Honestly, I'm not even sure what else is out there. I've been coming here for so long and haven't necessarily been looking for anything else.

I know some of the porn sites I go to have message boards, but good lucking finding people who will actually talk in the threads. Most of those boards get hit hard with advertisements.

I sort of in the same boat. I do frequent hornbunny for the quick pop, but been going here so long can't imagine going anywhere else (don't use my handle as a reference for I had many handles).

Before this it was AOL groups which is where I discovered my fetish.

Wow, blast from the past. I remember AOL's chat groups many many years ago.

I not too long ago found this site and I was happy for it. I've never posted to message/discussion boards until this site. I couldn't imagine what would be my next move if this was not here. I wish I found this ten years ago.

back in the day

before Lit, i remember Yahoo had some good chat rooms, but that was quite a while ago.

I can't remember the site, but it's still up last I looked. They had a human sexuality forum that I participated in for a while before they shut it down due to the number of pedophiles that swarmed it. Other than that, it was a fairly interesting message board.

Edit: Topix was the site I was thinking of. Havent been there in a few years now.

In the early 90s I hung out some in Compuserve’s Human Sexuality forums, HSX100 and HSX200. In the 2000s Yahoo! Answers had some good topics in the Family, Dating and other categories. I’ve been on Lit for over 10 years and it give some what I need now.

Yep. "back in the day", of dial-up modems and slow internet speeds, there was some good content and good discussion in Compuserve's Human Sexuality Forums. As an aside, I met my wife in a Compuserve forum but one associated with a Classic Rock band and not sex or dating related.

I also used to frequent some boards and "alt lists" on the Usenet newsgroups and, again, in the days of slow internet, used an automated newsreader to download "alt binaries", images and other content, for offline viewing later. People who have been active on the porn webs only in the modern days of high speeds and a plethora of html and GUI based content don't know what we went through to get our porn fix back in the day.

There were also the Yahoo Groups and Yahoo Messenger boards that I formerly frequented. They just gradually fazed them out till they were gone altogether.

It was folks on the Red Cloud and Voyeur Web forums, that liked some of my informal stories of past sexual exploits, and originally pointed me toward Literotica and encouraged me to post some of my stories herein. Ironically, I pretty much left there to avoid a woman who was stalking me so aggressively that I worried about something like a "fatal attraction'. Though I no longer have a paid account there, I occasionally venture over to the free section to see what's going on.

..

I dabbled on LushStories.com when I started here also. They are more lenient about picture posting, but there are far fewer people there too.
