If the world could vote...

Seeing as how 99% of the planet wears berets and sleeps with their livestock, theyre for Obama.

That's because the rest of the world always prefers the American candidate who appears more Fabian. It's the old vote yourself rich routine. The fact that it has always lead to a lower standard of living (the Norwegians were horrified to discover that if they became the 51st state, they'd rank lowest) doesn't seem to carry much weight. Go figure.

And the fact that in this particular race I happen to concur is mere happenstance.

Say what you want but Obama is pwn3d by McCain in Macedonia. Fo shizzle!

Well according to the Biography Channel (Canada)...so far 87% of Canadians (well, the poll takers anyway) would vote for Obama.

And just for the record...most of us don't sleep with our livestock... and only a small percentage of us wear berets.

I'm intrigued by how overwhelmingly one-sided the showing is.

A poll here in Canada months ago found out that well over 80% of Canadians would give up their right to vote in our election if they could vote in the US one and almost all would vote for Obama. But everyone knows we're all Godless Commies anyway, so it should be any surprise... :D

If the world was to elect someone to the most powerful office on the planet, what makes you think we'd chose an american?

How many people were polled for this? I hate statistics, especially when I'm not a part of 'em :p

Just remember one thing.

George Bush counts the votes and the Supreme Court breaks a tie.

First of all, I have to correct myself. My post was based on a news report, but when I did a search just now I found one article saying it was only 15% who would vote in the US election and only 65% who would vote for Obama, although others had different numbers from polls done at different times. It seems to me that the numbers were higher for both at one point, but there were several polls taken. I forget who did them, but it was one of the companies that does polling for Canadian elections.

Well, all those Cdn's who said they'd give up their vote here in favour of voting there, did.

The turnout here was pathetic.

They really shouldn't give percentages for things, they should say how many people were polled. I prefer hard numbers myself *shrug*

Oh, come on, Liar, admit it. The whole world is jealous of the U.S. for having Obama ;)

LIAR

Heres whats really funny. Then he makes it up or guesses...

But all McCain needs is 5 votes on the Supreme Court if any problems occur in the Red States. The way I see it, McCain has 4 and Obama has 4 with one undecided.

So the election might be a lot closer than many think.

After 2000 Florida changed the law, no recounts. If McCain wins by one vote it sux to be Obama.
