....would we have had a Cold War? If so, with whom? Would we have still won it?

Just some speculative questions.

I think that we would have still had to deal with Russia, but with Denikin, most likely. Perhaps a coalition of the White commanders. But a military dictatorship would have emerged for sure. A bit freer in some ways than the USSR, but also more effective and more dangerous in some areas. Not trapped by ideology, it would have been a regime devoted to Realpolitik, I think.

Perhaps. Perhaps not. The major difference being that Hitler might have had less of an opening to invade the USSR, if there was a strong military regime in power. They might have provided more of a deterrent.

More to the point, Denikin was less likely than Stalin make a deal like the Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact. In which case, Hitler might have been crushed earlier.....if the Poles actually co-operated with the Russians. And assuming that Denikin hadn't simply reconquered Poland at some point.
