This was/is heartbreaking to watch.
George Floyd cried out for his mother in his last breaths.
Tyre Nichols begged for his mom to help him as he suffered a beating by officers on a Memphis street corner that would claim his life.
I cried for these young white children as they too called for a mother to help them with an officer literally drunk on his power.
It mattered not my skin color or political affiliation to respect their humanity. I wish others here shared my same sentiments, but sadly that’s not so.
