Cold bath and aloe vera gel. It really does work wonders.

Also the tannin in black teas. Brewed strong. Left to cool or cooled with ice after brewing. To either daub the sun burnt skin with a tea bag - or if a bigger application is needed, a tea soaked paper towel. Just laying it across the sun burnt skin feels 80 million kinds of awesome. It has saved me more than once.
