To me, this is nothing but a convenient interface to some of my friends. Could I "leave" Lit? Hell yes. Could I leave my friends? No way.

It seems odd to me, as well, to come to a firm point of deciding to "leave." I've had times when I did not have time or inclination to come to Lit, but I can't imagine what would drive me to announce that I was actively "leaving" - that is, deciding that I would never come here again. If I was - if something had made me feel so unhappy with Lit that it was forever tarnished in my eyes - to whom, precisely, would I be making that announcement? If there were still people I cared about, then surely I might return. If not, then to whom would I care to address my parting comments?

Seriously, if you feel the need to depart for good, or for a break, I'd say so long and it has been nice to know you. Alot of people here benefit from a break, some from a complete departure, and some like Perdita essentially a departure, with the occassional guest starring role.
If you do leave, I hope it is for a small break, or at least like Perdita. You've shared your efforts at finding the right girl; I'd like to see a note here in the future when you have found her.
Best to you no matter what you decide.

Like others, I don't quite get 'leaving' maybe it's because i'm addicted, lol. But I can't see a point were I would just stop coming to a great site. What would be the point?
Lit's the only forum that I come to on a regular basis, though. I just don't have the energy to get to know any other ones Besides, they are all a bore compared to here! (unless you want to discuss a topic that people here don't know/care about like friends or dawson's creek, lol)
But if you insisted, I would say, best of luck, goodbye and maybe you will come and visit us again some day.
