If you had as much money as you wanted, what would you do with it?

Oh, that's easy. I'd set up a big lit compound/commune, so we could live together.

Buy land, housing and start that Lit/AH-GLBT commune so many have talked about and wished for.
*And pay bills*

I'd put the majority of it in a CD and invest the rest wisely and carefully. Social security will have run out by the time I'm in need of it and I'd rather be taken care of in my old age than have to work. I know that's not an exciting answer. Sorry. Just the first thing that came to mind.

BTW, I love that song. "Na na na na na na na na na na naaa." :D

*nods*

Or just vacation there ... or just "be" there ...

Maybe our own private island

We meet twice in one day  What would this place be like this island?

A clothing-optional, live-and-let-live Bohemian bliss fest ... of course. ;)

The ideal for me would be a place where we could bring our kids. It would be very selective about who could live there, but be pretty open for visitors. Room enough for everyone to have their own private spaces, but everyone would still be accessible.
Would I want to live "with" everyone from the AH all the time? No. I'm too much of a loner, but it would sure be nice to have many of you within touching distance, ya know?

The introvert understands completely.

I'd do like a reach for a dream thing where people would be able to do stuff they never wouldve otherwise.

I'd build me a great house, based on the advice from a Feng Shui master.

Buy my friends round of beer.

I don't want much money.

If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a house (I would buy you a house)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you furniture for your house
(Maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a K-Car (a nice Reliant automobile)
If I Had $1000000 I'd buy your love.

If I Had $1000000
I'd build a tree fort in our yard.
If I Had $1000000
You could help, it wouldn't be that hard.
If I Had $1000000
Maybe we could put a refrigerator in there.
(Wouldn't that be fabulous)

If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a fur coat (but not a real fur coat that's cruel)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you an exotic pet (Like a llama or an emu)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you John Merrick's remains (All them crazy elephant bones)
If I Had $1000000 I'd buy your love

If I Had $1000000
We wouldn't have to walk to the store
If I Had $1000000
We'd take a limousine 'cause it costs more
If I Had $1000000
We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner.
(But we would eat Kraft Dinner. Of course we would, we'd just eat more.
And buy really expensive ketchup with it.
That's right, all the fanciest Dijon Ketchup. Mmmmmm.)

If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a green dress (but not a real green dress, that's cruel)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you some art (a Picasso or a Garfunkel)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a monkey (haven't you always wanted a monkey?)
If I Had $1000000 I'd buy your love

If I Had $1000000, If I Had $1000000
If I Had $1000000, If I Had $1000000
I'd be rich.

Give my sons each enough to buy their own home.
Give my sister enough to buy out her husband's share of their house so they could finally separate and be happy.
Give both my brothers enough to be able to pay off their debts.
Ensure there was enough so that my parents can live comfortably in their old age, in their own home, with a live-in carer.
Give my ex enough to pay off his mortgage, so he wouldn't have to worry about living off his pension.
Buy a house in or near Provincetown, big enough that visitors could be accommodated in large numbers, where the gosling and I could live part of the year.
Buy a house in UK, where the gosling and I could live part of the year.

Any left after that, I have a few more ideas and projects.

Bless you :rose:

I'd see about buying either a village or perhaps a small island in the Caribbean, and build a village there.

Anyone from the AH who wants to move there, can, and bring their kids.

I'd help out my brothers and sister with their mortgages and education for their kids.

Then I'd sit on the porch of the house I set up, read, sip beer, and in the evenings I'd head to the pub I build and enjoy life with the people I care for.

If we're in the Caribbean, I'd probably go swimming everyday. The place has to have a beach.
