How big is your impact on the world's resources? Take the Earth Day quiz.

http://www.earthday.net/footprint/index.asp

It's a bit flawed though, since when it ask about cars, it assumes I own one. So in reality, my "footprint" as they call it would be smaller.

I scored 9.8 and it could be higher but it is assumed that one only owns and uses one home.

Mine was 16.

I'm feeling very un-thrifty right about now!

Answering them honestly, it said we would need 2.7 planets if everyone lived like me.

When I was pretending I lived in India (because it wouldn't let me pretend I lived in Iran), it said we would need 1.0 planets. So, apparently at least imaginary Indian me is living life in an environmentally friendly fashion.

Score of 13.9

7.7 planets. :(

Apparently I live in too much space. *sigh*.......and I've just downsized and am throwing stuff away like crazy because I have nowhere to keep it.

My worst score was 'goods and services' whatever that means. Accounted for half my footprint.

So I should be looking for a small wooden shack on the beach, with no services, and only eat what I can catch, kill or grow???? Oh, and walk everywhere.

Worldwide, There Exists 4.5 Biologically Productive Acres Per Person.

If Everyone Lived Like You, We Would Need 5.1 Planets To Live On

Curious how I allegedly use 22 acres, but only need 5.1 planets where Mat needs 7.7 planets for her 14 acres?

I'm surprisingly efficient...my score was 15 and I need 3.4 planets...I expected to be higher

Your score was in acres, and hers was in hectares. ;)

I'm feeling pretty good about myself.

IF EVERYONE LIVED LIKE YOU, WE WOULD NEED 7 PLANETS

Total score of 31. Oh yeah.

I scored 8.4 planets. However, I feel the test was unfair. I "live by myself." However, I often invite the less fortunate to share my living quarters. Not only do I do this regularly, I even go and search out the less fortunate. In order to do this I regularly frequent the local bars and honky tonks. Not only do I offer shelter to the less fortunate, sometimes I have to first snare the unfortunate lady away from the ass hole she is with.

my footprint is 2.8 and we'd need 1.6 planets if everyone lived like me. It didn't like that i ate meat a few times a week but i saved on not having a car and doing lots of walking...so I feel it's not bad, but obviously it could be better.

27 acres; 6 planets.

Not too shabby. And it works out, since not everybody lives like me.

*shrug*

I only take up 3.1, and with a few new lovers, we could take over the GALAXY!

Strange, I use 11 acres and score a 2.5 planets. (My killer was the meat thing, damn it can't they understand that even us carnivores need to eat?)

Screw the galaxy. I'll be a lover for free.
