If Bono sang "All I want Is You" to me, I would be in love forever

No, not that one. The one who is after debt relief for subsaharan African.

The other Bono.

The one who is currently with the US secretary of state or someone checking out pverty in Africa, on behalf of the UN.

Yes! Cheffie, yes! Yes! YES!

I'd say the ugly one, but that pretty much describes the lot.

Oh, you mean BONO.

That guy that sold out at the Super Bowl.

He had such integrity up to that point.

I like Bono , there is some thing about those shades he is always wearing that make him sexy.

bah KM, you just like the sweetest "swedish thing" he sings about....

"My love she throws me like a rubber ball
Oh oh oh, the sweetest thing
She won't catch me or break my fall
Oh oh oh, the swedish thing
Baby's got blue skies up ahead
But in this I'm a rain cloud
You know she likes a dry kind of love
Oh oh oh, the swedish thing"

now chef, you be quiet here :D

How come he campaigns to have third world debts forgiven, but says nothing about that huge student loan I can't pay back?

You should write him and ask.

Bono is sexy as hell. Saw U2 a few months back. God...he's just got that something.

But what's their musical legacy?

I think it's as this generations(And by this generation I mean Gen X which I am not a part of) Rolling Stones. A serviceable rock band whose contributions to music are nil.

And you know I'm right. 15 years from now we'll see them releasing albums full of songs that sound sort of like Beautiful Day(Which sounded like Where the Streets have no Name) and rocking out to an audience of 40 year old Hipsters.

You're saying the Stones had no influence on musical history?

Just because a band's best years are behind them doesn't negate their contribution to music.

And Bono's still sexy.

Yeah, for the most part.

Which doesn't negate the good things they did. I think Keith Richards is one of the best guitar players ever.

But did they spawn a musical movement like Elvis?

Did they invent a sound like the Kinks?

No, they were guys who went from copycat blues kids to MOR rockers.

I mean, there are lots of doctors who are good competent doctors and more poweer to them.

But you only remember the ones who have surgical procedures named after them.
