And I'm not speaking of individual black people or that one black person you know or that works at your place of employment.

Umm...I would miss some black people...some of my godson's (biracial) relatives I'd miss...a LOT! I wouldn't miss a whole race of people but I would surely wonder why such a thing would happen...to allow an extinction would feel like a loss and a failure at least at first. But if it happened, there probably was some reason for nature to take that course...

Well...these are good points. I suppose in ways I'd miss the whole race of people more than I realized. I was thinking about it more on a "personal" heart level than on a poli-sci-soc-eco level...

I'd miss the music like Motown and all the great artists, the great dancing, comedy (Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, etc.) Great singers like Whitney Houston and Beyonce and Lena Horne. Great actors, Morgan Freeman was mentioned, Sidney Poitier, and sports, my man Jim Brown and Tiger Woods.
