Hey Laurel,
I'm finding that there are so many good stories in here, I can't keep track of them all! Would you consider this:

members could have a 'favorites' list of maybe 20 or so stories, and at the end of each story a button to click on to save that one to your 'favorites' list. Then of course a way to go in and view your list and edit it.

Have a lovely day!

This is sort of re-inventing the wheel for IE5 and Navigator users and probably is for others as well. It seems to me that adding a story to your favorites folder would be quicker than waiting for a new page to load.

I usually save the stories for later reading offline and often cut and paste the longer stories into MS Word where I can set a bookmark for those I can't read in one sitting.

Harold is right, IE and Navigator both have 'favorites' folders, or 'bookmarks' to store urls.

But that's not exactly what I had in mind. I'm thinking I may not be alone in having a 'public' computer, used by others in the family.....I wouldn't want my 3 yr old granddaughter to learn to spell L-I-T-E-R-O-T-I-C-A, at least not quite yet.....

and of course, if I start password pretecting everything, that only draws suspicion....

Having 'favorites' stored within this site would be useful for those of us who, uh, 'live a secret life' so to speak...ya know?

Have a lovely day!!

There are many people here who probably should worry that their boss learns how to spell literotica too. :p So I suppose that there is more of "need" for what you suggest than I originally thought.

On a a more practical note, check out the "Windows Family Login" in Windows 98 or later. I have separate user accounts on my computer for both granddaughters (ages three and [nearly] seven), both Daughters and for my son-in-law. Each of them has their own "Theme" for the desktop, wallpaper, custom cursors, etc. That includes their own favorites folder for IE5 and recent files list in MS Word.

In addition, since I have my hard drives partitioned into six separate logical drives, I have restricted access to the drives where the dirty pictures collection and stories, either downloaded or in-work, are.

In fact, the younger granddaughter only has access to the CDROM drive and the Floppy because there's nothing resident on the computer for her.
