The interesting version might be that the hitperson falls in lust with the target and we have a Lit-type story between them. In the end the hitperson could either do their job (while regretting it) or turn on the hirer and do the job on behalf of the original target.

I was more or less going for that idea snooper. Where the hitperson falls in love with her but I was thinking why not have the mother fall in love with the hired person ie they had a secret affair and that the hired hit person is infact the husbands best mate and close neighbour. The other interesting fact about this story was that the mother who hired the hitperson did it online but in my version she didn`t as she already knew him.
