Has anyone else thought about using some of the best stories on Literotica as story lines for videos, using amateur actors/actresses?
Seems like it would be perfect for would-be thespians and exhibitionists, either with their real partners or with strangers recruited for the video project. The acting couldn't be much worse than that found in most commercial porn films, and taking high quality video is much easier and less expensive that it was even a few years ago.
What I like about the idea is the diversity of content, themes, body shapes, ages, and physical attributes.
There are a few websites that use genuine amateurs and that have no special rules about weight, cup size, penis size, etc., but are pretty much straight sex...(best is desperateamateurs.com, which includes some background info about the participants and some brief interviews), but I am not aware of anything source for explicit videos that are based on stories, with at least a hint of character development. Moreover, shouldn't there be a venue for folks who wouldn't or couldn't enter the adult entertainment industry, but who still have an itch to perform, especially if they knew that their normal, "imperfect," bodies would be accepted by the viewers?
I see two major issues. First, would people be willing to participate with little or no monetary compensation...just for the fun of it, and providing no one else would be getting rich from their work? Unless a lot of folks were willing, it would be almost impossible to bring together folks who live within a reasonable driving distance of one another. Second, if performers wished to protect their identities, i.e. hide their faces, do you think you and other people you know would still be interested in watching the videos? If so, would masks be okay (easier than blurring faces in the videos and also would allow viewers to see at least SOME aspects of facial expressions).
I don't know whether a new website would be required, or whether the videos could be sold to an existing paysite (proceeds to be used to reimburse for expenses, e.g. motel room or other "set" locations, and, if anything is left over, split between performers and crew).
