Inspite of student protest to teach broad based curriculum, law makers would rather they not know the facts about US History to the current day, especially current law makers who still promote bills and policies that lack diversity and are often detrimental to minorities.

The bill is intended to squash discussion in schools about the fact that White Supremacism stills exists to this day despite the Confederate Army losing in 1865.
