I'd like to share with you, some of my art.

This is a thread for people to share their art, if they have or can take photos of it...

I just wanted to share these. They are a small part, but all I have left, of 11 years of painting. I tend to give away everything I like, because I know others will enjoy it more.

Anyway, They arn't exceptional, or brilliant, but in making them, my sanity was spared.
To them, I owe my life.

If anyone else has artwork they'd like to share, I'd be thrilled to see it, and I am sure that others would like to, also.

I will add some in as I create new. I have new paper and paint, so I am going to paint this weekend.

Very nice, I really like the first of the series of three. I never quite got the hang of watercolors myself. *sigh* Acrylics just don't look as whimsical.

Is sewing considered an art?....what if it takes you a full year to complete and you felt like screaming half way through it , then is it art?


I also prefer photography.....I'll have to scan some stuff.

Talent

After looking at all the images in this thread I feel ashamed to be around so many talented people, I myself have no talent and often wish I could do things like that.

Starfish - I like painting Two of Three. It's very light, and cheered me up slightly.

Cactiphile - I liked the photo of the mushroom... subtlety amid flowing green...? Very nice.

Adoratrice - That is a beautiful stitching! And yes, stitching is called an art. Well, by those of us who do it. It's very hard work. Was that cross-stitch?

Morden - Writing is an art of itself. It creates pictures just like pencil, chalk, or paint. It simply presents itself on a canvas of the mind.

Sadguy - Don't feel bad. There are probably many talents that you have that many of us don't.

Unfortunately, I'd love to put mine up for you guys to see.. maybe get some feedback. But I don't have a scanner or a digital camera. Some day...

Yes Mrs. Nicci...it is cross stitch on linen with a shit load of bead work......it is one in a series of Fairies....I'm not sure I could do another one and keep my sanity. I love doing cross stich but I get so friggin obsessed with perfection that it is almost a punishment to start a big project. Alas.... the life of an artist is not an easy lot on Earth.

Damn Scylis those are sweet. I collect weapons especially swords. Those are some nice drawings. Let me know if you do large or custom drawings.
