No other Nathan B was making any requests in that thread. He was replying to you. I’ve seen you comment that you have been assured that you are not banned, but I haven’t seen any other replies to you on the forums. Was that in private message?

Nathan I have checked the ban log again and it does say NathanB and not NathanB90. It seems that this is a technical issue so clear you cache and cookies. restart and try again. If you continue to have a problem contact TheSunmaid

As per advise from Malinda I was to message if I continue to have technical issues. "Nathan I have checked the ban log again and it does say NathanB and not NathanB90. It seems that this is a technical issue so clear you cache and cookies. restart and try again." I'm using an android phone running Firefox as my browser

ok i am not sure who malinda is...but sure. have you cleared your cache and cookies and restart? you can also try testing with either another browser or device to see if it is the phone or the browser thats the issue.

well you see mods do have lives outside of lit and mine has been busy also I am a volunteer so i am not at your beck and call. i have no record of your name being banned so i am afraid theres not much more i can do about it other than direct you here..

I am not a gambler, but I would bet money that one of these two things happened:
1. You were banned. It was recorded in their Excel log as NathanB instead of NathanB90 by mistake. (No forum records exist for NathanB, incidentally, but that doesn’t 100% confirm that the account didn’t exist.)
2. You were banned because a chat mod saw the name NathanB90 and recognized it as already banned member NathanB and banned you, but they forgot to mark it in the log. (I don’t know how likely that is as their processes are well established, but life happens, could have been a very busy day, etc).
Here’s what I know (without any need to “do my research” as I’ve been reading this forum since 2001 and moderating here since 2016), you have gotten all of the answers you’re going to get. My advice would be to let it go and start a new account (and not like NathanB69 or something like that, be creative). If you’re not the same guy as NathanB, there’s no cause for the chat mod team to automatically ban you. If you are actually the person who got banned for cause, you’re likely to do the same thing again and find yourself in the same situation.

It sounds like I'm quasi-disconnected
sometimes I can be disconnected without actually being completely kicked off - so can see things but I cant type things that show up. Usually when I log off and back on it fixes it. but sometimes I completely restart my browser and clear cookies sometimes. I would like to use my e-mail address again

Nathan....You are banned we looked into it...it got logged incorrectly as Topleasehim said as NathanB who does not exist, which happens sometimes...you have been pmed now you know move the fuck on dude.

i have a question - if someone asks for their account to be deleted - is it taken off the system? or does it just become inactive?
