ICQ numbers lost

I have an innane question. When you log onto MSN messenger from anywhere, you're contacts are intact, but if you log onto ICQ from anywhere, you have to put all your contacts in by hand. Why is that? Why do they make it so difficult? I lost all of my ICQ contacts when I upgraded, and so I need some of them back: particularly Lavy, Chef, Desert Amazon, Ravenloft, Siren, BeeBeeBlue, Angel, Zephan, and a few others that refuse to come to mind. So can I get some PMs? Anyone else (ahem.. MENSA) feel free to give me your ICQ numbers. I promise to be nice.

Okay, and I loved your grocerphilia thread. I see the same thing where I work. It's like the little old ladies have a relationship with the fruit and veggies. That's why they spray them with water so much.

Actually that feature is built into the latest versions of ICQ, starting I think about ½ a year ago or so.

depends on the version of ICQ you are running... If you have the latest one it should do all the contacts for you (mine did) so maybe you should look and see if yours is 2002a...
