Yes. Oddly enough, a lot of it does come from having your email address here. Not all, but enough.
It's not that it's Lit's fault, just a fact. Email harvesters. Apparently it's pretty easy to do on boards.
I've set my spam filters to exclusive in hotmail. Unfortunately, it keeps grabbing legitimate mail along with the spam.

An interesting phenomena at my hotmail account:
My junk-mail filter used be turned-off. The number of junk-mails had been 1 - 3 a day at most. I turned junk filter on (high). The following day, I got eleven junk mails.
