Ick, Rant about 1 Votes

Okie, so maybe my newest story isn’t the best out there, but when I keep getting numerous one votes on my first day, I begin to get a little concerned and wonder. It leads me to thinking, this story is a gay male story, and both my previous stories are straight. Now, since I RP online as a man all the time, and not only get away with it but am damned convincing, I think its highly doubtful that I have just fucked up the gay sex scene. Now... it does leave me to question – do you think that the gay stories on the whole have less votes and more of what I call ‘bomb’ (a 1) votes then the other categories? I mean... I don’t know. But I believe that I am a good writer, and while I certainly have much to work on, I highly doubt the story was worth a one. I’m bitching, but it ticks me off! I never give a one!! If some one works hard, takes up the courage to write a story, not only write it, but POST it, why would anyone feel the desire to fuck them over? Bah. I’m just… sad. :sighs: At any rate.

So why are there voting trolls? Simple answer: There are a certain percentage of immature twats in the world. The internet and it's anonymity lets them roam free in all thet immature twat-ness. Ignore them.

I read the story, and enjoyed the read. It's definitely a 3-4-5 story (what I usually give a good effort, even if it fails in some ways). But since I can't get into the hot-or-notness of gay erotica, neither male not female, I don't think I it would be fair of me to vote.

Let the good things get ya up, don't let the bad things get ya down.

Do you really think so? Cause For some reason I always thought the one on your members page was the updated one? I have just gotten bad vote after bad vote. I'll be hoping your correct, though, hon.

I apreciate the feedback. The story could use some work, but i dont think its worth a 1. i just dont.

If it shows up as a "5" for Icing, that means that at one point the score was "5" - true, your member page is more accurate, but the reason for the "1"'s is probably that "5" that others see.

Sad to say it, but I too am bitten by the jealousy bug. I don't vote 1's on stories that are "beating" mine, but I do get a bit red in the face "how dare they write better than me?!"

I'll bet that someone saw your perfect score and decided to ruin it for you. Stupid...idiot.

Oooh well. I was hoping for a better reaction than this, how very sad it is when people do things like this just to hurt others. Truly. It makes me glad I'm happy enough with myself to never do that to others. Nice to have a little self confidence.
