It's not even that. This guy had a Green card. married a US citizen, kids, job, everything you want from a legal immigrant and they detain him over a clerical error. In no way, shape or form was he an illegal alien.

Fucking ridiculous. Whoever was responsible for the decision on this one needs to be fired. Its either (a) a deliberate decision to sabotage deportation of illegals by making the whole process look completely fascists or (b) totally moronic.

Either way, everyone responsible should be terminated on the spot and this guy reimbursed for legal fees and lost wages.
