IC STARTS

It was a bright sunday morning and the paladin Charles Sunbringer was standing on the square, pleading for the people to listen to his words, ansd soon enough he had all their attention.

"Listen people of Georgia, while I may be a Paladin of Light, a warrior of the good and righteous, I cannot dare to say, that I chosed this life. I had no choice in what I was to become as a child, as I was blessed by Tharmas it was decided by my family and the Order of Light that I was to become a paladin without a real choice. And yet the Order of Light speaks of the free choices of man and the gift of own will, yet they make me into a paladin, without even asking me if that's what I wanted."

He waited for the murmurs, gasps and shouts, where they asked why being a paladin was a bad thing, ended and then spoke up again.

"I was raised from day one to be a Paladin, I wanted to play with other children, but I was told to read, learn swords and ettiques. I had no real childhood, or life, the Order of Light, and my family, controlled my every day life, limiting me to only this path, without options. The only time I can remember enjoying myself is being trained in the works of a merchant before I had to learn the paladin arts again."

"At my ceremony to becoem a paladin, I was paralyzed by magic to keep me from protesting and declining the powers of Thalmas, I was sent of todangerous quests, killing evil and the likes, for the Order of Light, to make sure the people knew the Light was still there. But I can tell you, darkness broods in the heart of the Order of Light itself. I have seen it and now I will let it become clear, I shall let the truth come free. I was their puppet, their mascot, made to give you people a bright view of the Order, to show how they cared for you."

"And yet I have seen the sickest of acts, andn w I cannot bear carrying these emotions and secrets inside anymore... The High Priests of the Order of Light, have intentionally planted seeds of darkness to give themselves a reason to exist, as without darkness, they won't be paid by the king for their services for the kingdom. They have declared innocent women witches, just to claim their families' riches, among them my niece, Jessica Starbringer. They have tortured innocents for the enjoyments of it, killed to keep their own names clean and raped women, men and children in their own sick pleasures. But the breaking point was this night..."

As he spoke tears were running down his eyes, and in the shocked masses a band of the Order of light's paladins came rushing with swords, screaming at him to remain silent, among them one fo the high Priests, panic on his face.

"There was a young halfling peasant girl named Lily, she was a sweet girl, helping her sick grandmother every day getting water and food. The none day she didn't come, I was asked to find her as I passed by, I tracked her, and I came to the Temple of Light, and to the private quarters of High Priest Douglas of Fouven. I was petrified with shock, disgust, revolt and anger... Her dead body laid on the sheets, raped even after her body had cooled, pieces of her flesh cut off, her entire stomach cut open ,her entrails removed, and her breasts tore apart like bad fruits. And on his table, drinking her blood like wine and eating the roasted meat gotten from her corpse, was High Priest Douglas. And by this I say, that the Order of Light, does not exist, only... the Order of Sin."

There was dead silence, it didn't just limit itself to the square, but to the entire town, it was dead silent, but then the fat man who was the High Priest Douglas, who was the priest with the paladins running for Charles on the large platform, shouted out in panic. "Lies! All Lies! how dare you accuse a High Priest, let alone the Order of Light itself! For such vile acts!?"

"Here's all the proof I need. Her grandmother, she made me swear to show this to the people, to show your true face, it is the least I can do, for her and her lost granddaughter." He spoke solemnly, tears running down his face, pulled out a bag and threw it onto the ground in front of the High Priest, and there was a scream as when the bag was opened, it revealed the mutilated corpse of Lily, the personal holy daggers, used for sacrificing their own blood, of the High Priests, only one pair existed in the world for one priest, and they were deeply buried in the young girl's cold corpse, bearing the name Douglas of Fouven on their blades, nobody but a priest could touch those weapons as they were bonded to the priest's blood.

"I, Charles Sunbringer, hereby dismiss myself from the Order of Light, now the Order of Sin, I turn my back on Thalmas, the Light God who let his own religion fall into the darkest of pits, and I hope that you all burn in the pits, for all the lives you have exploited, tormented and ended in your sins. And let the world, see your true colors." Tearing off his holy symbol the paladin crushed it in his hand and drew off his mantle, tearing the symbol on it apart
, before throwing it over the corpse of Lily. He then pulled out his sword and impaled it on the stone platform, the paladins that had gone with the High Priest were puking in their own helmets, they were innocents, just believing in the light, but there was no light in these lands, not any more.

"I grant you, Douglas of Fouven, one last chance to leave this place, alive." The shaking priest looked up at the powerful paladin whose crying eyes began to shine with pure white power, his blade igniting into pure white flames. "I shall use the power of your own god, and if his power is merciful on you, the you shall leave to face your shame in life, but if not, then you shall burn in the pits of the nine circles of hell."

"Nonononon! No please. There's some mistake! I am not dark! Anyway who cares about a halfling freak!? I follow the light! I-"

"Let this blade decide if you are true or not, SMITE EVIL!!!!!!" The blade shone with a brilliant light that shone like a thousand suns, the Paladins bowed to the light, their bodies unharmed, but the High Priest, his skin boiled, his bvoice screaming in intense pain, blood gushing out of his eyes, skin ripping apart from fat tearing itself apart as flesh went rotting and boiling. Soon enough he was a screaming skinless thing, begging for it to end, but the unforgiving eyes of Charles Sunbringer, shone even brighter and the light intensified and the High Priest's pained wails screeched through the city until his corpse was nothing but a pile of sludge on the ground, his holy daggers, melted into a pile of molted gold and silver.

The light ended and the paladin turned towards the silent masses and spoke. "I shall leave these lands, using the treasures I've earned in my service, to prepare ten large ships fit for over one hundred thousand people. I shall sail to a new world, to start anew, and make a home for everybody, no matter their race, no matter their gender and no matter their status. Everybody shall be given the freedom of choice, nobody shall be forced to follow another's will, working together is the key, and while it might be needed for some to follow orders to do the work, so do not remember that the ones taking the orders are the ones doing the work you cannot do. Poor and rich shall not be given privileges, being rich won't save you from a blade or give you food without working or paying for it. And there shall be no overtaxing of commoners, or adventurers, as the payment of a job should not be taken apart until nearly nothing remains, it will only cause suffering and less moral."

"And so I ask, all of you, to consider this offer, in two weeks, I shall leave with my twenty five ships, and take everybody who wants to come with me to the new world, to Greenfawn, and to a new life. I shall be at the harbour for the next two weeks, so pelase, spread the word, and tell what I have said, people share their knowledge, it is what makes them people." The paladin then walked off towards the harbour, his flowing hair in the wind, the bag he was carrying, tied up in the bundle of his mantle, and gave it to an old halfling woman, who hugged him, both of them crying before he left for the harbours, the old halfling taking her daughter's remains to the family's graveyard in the northern lands.

Xela yawned loudly, her mouth opening wide enough to swallow a fist as she did, displaying her fangs to everyone in the street, as if the small horns and and tail weren't enough to tip off the commoners, though it did manage to get a few scared looks, Xela didn't exactly like getting them, but she did find it a little amusing, not so much today though, she was far to tired for that, one of the many problems with traveling through the night was that you were tired as all hell in the morning, but Xela really didn't like the prospect of traveling for another day... she really needed to buy a horse or something.

She wandered idly through the town, wondering what to do, taverns normally helped when it came to getting a lead on some job she could do, but she doubted that they would be that full at this time of day, notch that up as another downside of nighttime travel, at least she was in the city a day before she expected she would be... with nothing to do for hours, by which point she would be tired and cranky, and in no mood to fish for information amongst the beer soaked boozehouds. she sighed and pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind, maybe they would give her a better rate for a room since it was the day, unlikely, but it would be a nice way to ease the annoyance she felt.

She walked on, ignoring the background noise as she looked for a nice place, until a scream managed to pierce through her tired haze and forced her to pay attention to something else, she looked at the gathering, first seeing the Paladin who was the obvious cause of what was going on, then the fat priest, fat priests never made much sense to her, just wasn't a very clergyman like thing to do, they were meant to be all nice and good, sacrifice the nice things like eating enough food to get fat, then again, she judged them all to one hell of an idealised standard, so she wasn't a good person to ask on the subject.

As she got closer she saw what the Paladin had thrown down... a corpse, a clearly mutilated corpse, the sight made even her wince slightly, poor girl, Xela always like halflings, they tended to be easygoing enough to get over the way she looked in a second, and they were almost always fun, she felt for the girl, and was eager to have a few words with the fat bastard of a priest that, judging by the look on his face, she assumed was responsible, pro bono of course. But the Paladin quickly took care of that, killing the priest in a sufficiently showing (and painful looking) manner, if a bit quick.

Already distracted from her search, Xela stayed and payed attention to the end of the Paladins speech, the equality line was interesting, but held little sway with Xela, who already worked hard and tended to be paid accordingly, but the idea of going to an entirely new land... that was an attractive offer, and Xela was always good at knowing an attractive offer when she heard one.

Alaster listened to the man's speech. He had done things just as bad at a time in his life so it was hard for him to be passionate about the Paladin's views, but the new land sounded intriguing. It was getting to be time to move on and that was as good a place as any. He had been living in this town for going on a year, much longer than he normally stayed anywhere. He had tricked himself into thinking the curse had ended and recently had been falling for a server at the local tavern. She had a wholesome beauty to her and one night after the tavern had closed they stayed up late into the night talking and laughing. For a time his past seemed to have left him, but then the demon's wicked magic came again. Her father had taken horribly ill, a rare disease he had no way of having come in contact with. Then the girl was mugged in the street and nearly raped if Alaster hadn't shown up. When that happened he couldn't handle the guilt anymore and told her he had to leave. She told him she would follow him, but she wouldn't be able to follow him to this new land. That night he told the woman who loved him he changed his mind and would stay, however once back in his room he started packing and got ready for his journey. Maybe the demons from his past wouldn't be able to follow him there. The hope gave him a warm feeling and helped him sleep that night even if he knew it was false hope.

Dark brown eyes watched the scene unfold with a equal sense of curiosity and disgust. On one hand, she never liked to see one of her race slain and for lack of a better word butchered. Yet she felt nothing but pity for the girl, after all Mabs had been brought up with the idea that there was only one person in the world you could count on; yourself. You have to look out for number one, as the saying went. It was a rough lesson to learn, a pity the sweet little thing never had a chance to learn it. Mabs watched the scene unfold from the shadows of a nearby alley, her thick gray cloak shimmering into a rich black and literally was absorbed into the nearby shadows taking Mab's figure with it. Thanks to some very helpful investments, Mabsweet Crumbuckle was rarely seen if she didn't want to be.
It was truly a pity none could see the halfling though; because it was truly a sight to behold. Despite her small stature, Mabs was as well built and lovely proportional as any elven maiden. Her figure was sleek yet shapely, clad in supple black leather armor that clung greedily to her lithe figure. Her looks were just as striking as her figure, angular and breathtakingly beautiful. Her hair was a striking crimson, short and swept back typically kept back by a green bandana. There was no ostentatious jewelry adorning her upswept ears or little digits. No, Mabs wasn't the flashy type; she preferred to go unnoticed until she rightfully wanted to make her presence known.
The idea of starting a new was always tempting; after all, a new country was ripe for the picking in her eyes. Especially if she wiggled her way in from the get go. But something else caught Mabs' curious gaze, the tall and powerful looking girl sporting a pair of curvy horns and a tail. It wasn't so much the demonic features that caught her attention but instead the weaponry she carried with her. Quietly Mabs withdrew from the welcoming shadows and stalked out after this demoness...if anything she might prove interesting to watch for awhile.

-Soren had just entered town notmally he would rest but he would be late to check in suddenly he saw some one speaking he was intregued. walking closer he just caught maybe the middle of the speach he sat there in aw never seen such courage amongst a paladin. i mean sure he seen couragious paladins but this one was diffrent as he listend he got mad him self listening to the whole story seeing the killing happen he was shocked and amazed-"This Paladin has seen better days."-he said to him self.when he herd the whole thing and finished he saw people go away he would travel to the harbour the images in his head flew by he got to the inn adn checked in and got ready the next day he would go to the harbour as he sat in his room he sighed pulling some food from his backpack and began to eat as for now he would rest up.-

Dryadson Sisters

IC: "Were out of our element now aren't we?" A pair of identical maidens stood at the gates of the large stone city.

"Cedar guard." The one with the hawk perched on the shoulder pointed at the other. Then the hawk spread its wings and took to the sky.

"Celest, you can teach him to guard people, and yet you can't teach him not to beat his wings in your face. Why are we going to the city again?" Lynn still had her doubts as to weather or not they could find a ship heading to the Greenfawn, and even if they could find a ship could they afford it? The pair had saved some time but Lynn had her doubts.

Celest simply stuck her tong out in a playful manner. The pair were no longer teens in human years, and not yet teens in elven years, but there playful style left note doubt they were in there late teens. 18 years in half blood time.

The pair stepped in to the city. The hawk flying and watching high above. As the trio moved about empty streets Celest broke the silence. "Were do you think every one went? I have scarcely seen a city guard, and... well... I expected more for a city this size."

Lynn shrugged.

Then slowly but surly the crowds grew, partly because they moved deeper into the city and partly because what ever excitement had happened, had finished. It wasn't long before they found some one to explain the days events.

"Well Lynn, I think we just received a free trip to Greenfawn, and perhaps mom."

If this news is accurate the pair had some provisions to buy. They no longer need go in unprepared.

OOC: Okay now time for the sailing. And I wil lgive an example on a dice roll.

Charles Sunbringer stood on the bridge of his capital ship of his fleet of ten large frigates, looking out at the mist shrouded sea, four weeks had gone since he spoke at the square in the capital town of Georgia, and two since he left the harbour with his fleet for Greenfawn. The sailing had gone smooth for the first week, but then a storm passed them by for two days, giving them a good scare and bumping from the wild waves, followed by a two day long windy days of storm strength winds and then for the next three days a thick mist shrouded their sight.

Captain Thornblood, a former pirate who Charles had managed to turn fro mhis bloody work into a trader, and a tiefling, spoke to the Paladin. "I am not sure why there's such a thick mist, we're nowhere near a cold air zone, there should be no mist. It's so suspicious I am almost starting to believe that someone, or something, is trying to put us out of our way, good thing we have compass." The paladin nodded before standing up and spoke to the captain.

"Please keep on course, we shall not be disillusioned by whoever, or whatever, is trying to put an end to our quest. I shall try to see if I can get some fish for lunch, good sailing my friend." Patting the tiefling on the shoulder the paladin grabbed a fishing pole and a bucket of maggots and some bad meat.

DICE ROLL: Survival to see how well it goes with the fishing.

Result: 16+5=21

Putting on a fat maggot on the hook the paladin threw it into the waters while he sat on a barrel listening to som bards singing morning songs for the passengers, within thirty seconds he had a bite and pulled with all his strength to get the storng fish up fro mthe surface of the ocean.

ROLL DICE: Strength to get a large aquatic animal out of the water.

Result: 12+4=16

The Paladin pulled hard on the fishing pole and suddenly a large shape flew out of the water and landed square on the wooden floor of the bridge, it was an over 300 lbs seacat, the thing was massive. The crew cheered for the fine catch and soon enough were plenty of people starting to fish, some successful, some not so. Taking his catch Charles asked the cooks of the ship to make some rations out of the fish meat but only took ten day's worth of rations, and told them to put the rest in a barrel for others to take of.

GAINS: 10 Rations.

Chewing on some fish meat the Paladin looked around the people mingling o nthe ship and msiled, it felt good to be out of Georgia, so much pressure on his shoulders relieved, ah yes he was in a good mood today.

It wasn't hard to talk her way on board one of the numerous ships. A simple bat of the eyes and an arch of the back was enough to distract any living male. Now she could have just easily gone in and signed up for the journey, but Mabs' wasn't one to hitch up her skirt (if she wore one) and help out. It wasn't her taste to get dirty, though she did enjoy the rewards of such.

The cool breeze was comforting, even if the fog blotted out most of the sun. Mabs enjoyed herself regardless, sitting out on the edge of the ship's railing beside several handsome young men trying their best to catch a fish as big as the paladin's and impress this beautiful little halfling. She managed to trade a playful kiss on the cheek and a promise for more later for a pipe and some tobacco. She never intended to go through with such a promise, but it wasn't exactly hard to string an eager young human on for a good while. The taste of the tobacco was rich and relaxing, though its smoke was lost in the looming fog.

-Soren had began this voyage two weeks ago he was holding on to 4 rations when he started now down to his one the supplies didnt last long though it took him a week and a half for 4 rations considerign he didnt eat a lot when he didnt have to soon the storms came and they were tossed around and then herd panic above in the cabins below where he stayed he looked up and sighed the rest he got was ok from the night before and decided to join the deck a couple of hours later finding out people were fishing he was patted on the back and smiled at-"here ya go fish with us"-he nods being handed the stuff and found a spot close to the paladin as he tossed the line in the water with maggot though he wasnt succesful the first fish that grabs on nearly pulls him over letting go of the rod as he sighed-"Crap"-he said and walked over a few men grabbing fish from a barrel he grabs 10 that was the limit for the time being as he grabs 10 and asks some one on bored to help make rations-

-gain 8 rations-

-he walked over to a corner of the outside that wasnt busy to nibble on his fish as he looked to the sky as he nibbled-

Celest Dryadson

IC: I stood at the aft of the ship. Cedar flew in, a white animal in his grasp. The voyage hadn't been easy for the mainland bird but he was managing as best he could.

He landed on the boat softly. A boat was no place for a hawk, but at least he was managing the seagulls. Cedar then set about cleaning his kill. "Stay safe cedar. I am going to go bellow deck with Lynn. She isn't handling the boat trip as well as you." At that I turned and went to check up with my sister.

-soren took a Second Chance in the mist of the Bussle on the ship he sighed putting a bait on the fishing hook he threw it over bored and waited-
[rolling for Fish caught 12+6=18]
-soren Smiled all though he hasnt done this much he kept going then got a hook on something he winced though it was really strong-"Help i got something"-he yelled he figure it was as big if not slightly smaller then the paladins still though he wasnt Strong nearly like the paladin he braced him self-"HELP"-he said feelign him self beign pulled over bored almost his footing loosing grip he had caught 10 fish only and this one was his 11th hopefully last-

Alaster had left before the young woman who thought she loved him could know where he had gone and she never would know. If she couldn't find him she couldn't be cursed by him. It was a pity, because she was a pretty is homely lady who he had really enjoyed bedding. It would hurt her, but she was better off.

Alaster rose from the dark bowels of the ship to get some fresh air on the deck. The first thing that caught his eye was a well figured halfling smoking a pipe. He headed towards her intending to ask for a smoke of her pipe and perhaps spend some time together when a noise drew his attention. An elf was trying valiantly to bring in a fish and failing. He looked between the man and the halfling woman he was now just behind. “Damn the gods,” he muttered and ran over to help the man.

Strength check: Roll 13 + 5 = 18

"We wouldn't want someone going over board before we even get there there would we skinny."

-He smiled all though he was right he wasnt very brawney but he could probably out wit him but now wasnt a time as they heaved at the fish-

[Rolling for heavy pull motion Streanth check 18+2=20 ]

-Soren Grunted-"I think with a good heave we can do it"-he said as him and Alaster Threw the fish over there bodys and on the deck it was Slightly smaller then the Paladins and Soren Breathed hard as they began cutting up the fish and Soren sighed looking to the man who helped-"I got Plenty of Rations why dont you use The fish for Rations before they hand it out for your self since you helped me Catch it"-he said breathing in the salt air-"Im Soren Elf Scorcerer"-he said as he felt his stomach become ill must of been from the suddent jerk motions and the fish he had as he just felt it bother him for now-

As the two pulled on the fishing pole an octupus around the size of a halfling (small) flew up from the water and flew towards the two men's faces, its tentacles ready to cling to whatever it landed on.

OOC: Roll reflex to evade the octopus. DC: 14, which means that you have to roll more then 14 to avoid the octopus.

Finishing his light meal of fish the paladin moved along the bridge, trying to see out through the mist, his eyes trying to split the thick low clouds to see the ocean around them. For a splitt second he thought he had seen something beyond the clouds but it was hard to tell.

DICE ROLL FOR SPOT: 7+4=11

While he couldn't see clearly was he sure that something was moving in the mist, and it didn't move like any ship he knew. "Captain I want to speak with you." The tiefling swiftly moved over to the paladin and saluted. "Yes Charles what can I hel pyou with?"

"There's something moving in the mist, it doesn't move like a ship though, it mobes more like a... fish but it seems way too big." The tiefling's eyes narrowed and he swiftly turned towards a sorcerer among the crew and shouted. "Thala! Cast Gust of Wind at the Mist! Clear it and give us a better view!"

The elf sorceress nodded and chanted while moving up on top of a crate and then fired a wild gust from her palms and suddenly the mist lightened up up to one hundred feet around the ship, but it soon filled up with the unnatural mist agan but it was easier to see now. "Does anyoen see anything out there!?" The Paladin asked i na loud voice to the entire crew and soon people began to look out to see what was out there in the mist.

“Alaster,” he told Soren, “Mercenary, I suppose. Though I can be quite convincing at times when a blade isn't appropriate.” Alaster smiled and shook the man's hand with a strong grip. “I appreciate the offer, but I'm not real good at skinning or cooking. Keep it. Buy a round once we have a tavern set up on the mainland and we'll call it even. I'm going to see if that halfling will give me a puff from her pipe.”

Alaster turned to go find the halfling again when suddenly an octopus was upon him.

Reflex: Roll 18 + 1 = 19

He dodged out of the way way and prepared for battle

Iniative Roll 15+3+18

Celest Dryadson and Lynn Dryadson

IC: Celest: [search ship for Lynn 2+4=6]

"Now where the devil could Lynn of gone?" I had always had good relations with my sister, especially now were we traveled in such small groups. But here on this ship I had lost sight of her.

'Does anyoen see anything out there!?'

[one hell of a good spot check 17 + 13 = 30]

I took a deep look into the mist. Some times a little bit of wisdom is involved in seeing and hearing. Wisdom such as carring a magic shield that makes you more attentive at all times.

"I am pretty sure I see something!"

IC: Lynn: I let out a soft yawn. I had fallen a sleep down bellow deck, close to some ones luggage but not mine. "What time is it?" I slowly and lazily made my way to deck to see if it was day or night.

-Soren Gasped and got ready seeing the Tenticals come from the water out-

[Roll for evasion 12+3=15]

-Soren Dodges it and rolls to safty near the human he looked pissed and wanted to help-

[Roll for Battle Initiative 14+3=17]

-Soren tossed his hands out-"MAGIC MISSLE"-he yelled out and shot them at the Octupuss that was attacking-

The octopus got roasted alive by the magical energies of the spell, well done, but would need a bit of spicing to go with the flavour of roasted tentacles.

SOREN GAINS ITEM: ROasted Octopus (worth 30 rations, weights 22 lbs)

Celest's Spot: As you peer into the thick mist ahead you spot a large tortoise with several water trolls riding on its back, trying to be as silent as possible, a shaman on top of the shell, chanting magically to keep the thick mist up, it was a small tribe of sea troll raiders trying to get loot and food, with the humanoids being food.

Xela took a swig from her water-skin as she laid back on her hammock, her eyes watching the young cabin boy beside her as he polished her armour, she didn't normally bother with such things, but there was dammed all else on the ship for her to spend her hard earned gold on, and watching her servant do exactly as told out of a mix of fear and greed was oddly amusing to her.

"Hey" she caught the boys attention "you're not done with that' she said, pointing to the bracer he had just put down "I said I want to see my face in them by the time you were done, that ones clean but I sure as hells cant see my face" she grinned evilly "now hurry up, after this you're gonna rub my feet" she wouldn't make him do that... well, she might not, but it was fun to make people squirm.

Her ears perked when she heard someone casting Magic missile above them on deck "Magic missile?" she asked herself, growing curious as she got to her feet "don't you go anywhere" she ordered the boy before walking away and up on to deck, intent on finding out what was going on.

-Soren Breathed Heavy After Gathering Rations maybe he may split it up amongst some people he looked around then suddenly herd some one call out to him he turns seeing a woman walk his way-"Who Me?"-he said curiously and looked to the woman she had to be a skilled warrior she looked it definatly-

As quick as it had started the battle was over. The sorcerer was much more capable than he thought when he first saw him.

Listen: 19 +2 = 21

Hearing someone claim they could see something in the dense fog I rushed to their side leaving the elf to deal with whoever questioned his act. Blade still drawn should what she saw be more trouble I find a young looking girl, that appears to be elven, though she seemed much more down to earth than elves usually seem to.

"What's going on? Is it more trouble?" I ask wanting to be prepared, though I know if there is trouble there will be little I'll be able to do until it gets here.

Frowning Charles moved about the bridge, trying to get a good view of what was moving in the mist, when he bumped into the strong frame of a tiefling woman. Bowing his head to the tiefling woman, not even faced by her rough looks, and spoke up in a apologetic manner. "Terribly sorry for that, didn't meant to bump into you, I shall just leave before I upset you." Turning to leave the Paladin to the time to look out at the ocean for a moment to once more try to spot whatever was out there.

Spot Roll: 17+4=21

His eyes narrowed at what he saw, a large tortoise, tamed by a tribe of sea trolls, there were around a dozen of them, thirteen if counted with the shaman who was casting a spell, probably what was causing the mist. Putting his hand on his bastard sword strapped to his back the former holy warrior watched the trolls. "Things are starting to get dangerous..." He muttered softly before turning towards the people around him. "We have sea trolls approaching, prepare whatever fire and acid related weapons you can use, a troll never dies unless you use acid or fire."

Turning towards the crew he shouted. "SEA TROLLS!!! PREPARE FOR BATTLE!!! WARN THE OTHER SHIPS!!! PREPARE FIRES AND ACIDS!!! TO KILL A TROLL YOU NEED FIRE OR ACID!!!"

Listen Roll Result: There's several low mumbling chanting voices in the language of giants, if you understand Giant then it says. "Row to the human ships, put them all together to go to the chips, make them women into roast and make the men into toast. Hehooo we're killing some humans today."

OOC: On that note, Celest gets 200 xp for spotting the trolls, as it was a DC 20 I think that deserves a reward. Xela gets 100 xp for tormenting a cabin boy into her servant. Soren and Alaster gets 50 xp for defeating the small octopus, though Alaster gets 100 xp for hearing the trolls. Mabs gets 100 xp for deceiving the passengers and making the crew look like fools. Charles gets 250 xp, 50 for the seacat, and 200 xp for alerting the ships about the sea trolls.

-Soren herd the Paladin shout and turned to the woman heading towards him-

"this will have to wait" -Soren ran to the edge of the ship and watched-

"Woah i never seen a Sea Troll"

-he herd what had to be done he only had so many spells he didnt know if he was gonna be of any use he sighed and tried it it was worth a shot as he prepaired him self and whispere-

"ghost sound"

-he did the spell hopefully the trolls will at least be a bit spooked or something if anything else he would bring all who were un able to fight below as he once again uses another spell named message as he uses it he send a message to the paladin-

"My name is Soren Elf Scorcerer if my Ghost Sound Spell does not effect the enemy Should i bring all who are unable to fight below?"

-he said as he continued using the Ghost sound spell and once more as it may of run out the first time-

OOC: Don't waste your spells, you will need to rest 8 hours to regain them, and ghost sound is meant for a distraction in battle, and yes spooking ,but those are seatrolls, not easily intimidated. And the seatrols have not gone to the ships yet ,they are still in the mists on their tortoise, so to spot them you need a good spot roll, though knowing they are there will lessen your DC.

"Let them come, we won't be easily defeated." Alaster suddenly wished he owned a melee weapon though he knew it would be near worthless in this fog. He watched the railings for grappling hooks he felt sure would soon come wanting them to have to deal with only a few at a time if possible. He was confidant in himself, but that was no reason not to fight smart.
