I like to write and I wrote a lot. I contribute to some Dutch websites (in Dutch, my native language), but I also wrote some fiction in English.

The English fiction I wrote more or less upon request by a member of this forum, someone with good ideas.

The result is two long stories (think 80-100 pages each). Both stories center around GSA (genetical sexual attraction). Both stories feature a mother and her son.

Story 1 features a single mom and her son. Son is uninhibited, but starts exploring sexuality. More or less inspired by this, the mother starts to explore her sexuality again. Together, they find a way to do this. There's a hint of mutual attraction, but instead of consuming it, they form a pact. It is a story of coming of age for both mother and son. They do not have sex with each other, but there is definitely some sublimation going on.

Story 2 is a development of story 1. Gloves are off in this part. The mother has lived an interesting life abroad, mostly to keep away from the criminal background of the patriarchs in the family. After being apart for a decade, mother and son reinvent their relationship. She makes him film her adventures, often performed with peers of her own son. She's struggling between protecting him from girls that are "not good enough" and her own desire to claim what's hers.

Both stories are written. They are done. I would like someone to read them and tell me how to create snack-size portions. Needless to say, I will list you as a co-author/editor.

First off, welcome. :)

Second, I see no reason for you not to post your stories. Incest is one of the most popular categories, so you are probably guaranteed a lot of people will at least start reading your story.

For breaking your story down, it's easier to say how many words it is, not pages, since pages differ for everyone depending on font size, etc. For me, I get about 500 words on my word processor page. Let's say you do the same, that'd be 40-50k words for your 80-100 page story.

I can offer this -- anecdotally, at least, readers seem to like things in approximately 10k-word blocks. When I post multi-part stories, I usually post in blocks of 8-12k words. (A Lit screen page is approximately 3400 words.) I tend to do this because if I sit down to read, I usually only have time/patience for about 10k words, and so I don't want to ask more of readers than I can do myself.

That said, it's not necessary to break your story down. Literotica doesn't have a maximum on words in a submission, and plenty of readers will read a long story. People post stories much longer than 50k (I've done that myself).

I'm not going to offer to edit your story -- incest isn't something I care to read -- but if you go to the Editor's Forum, and ask nicely, I think you could probably find someone. Good luck.

I echo PL's advice. The best way to get an editor on here is to post in the Editor's Forum.

Welcome to the Authors' Hangout. Here you can get good answers to questions, hone your writing skills by playing the word games and generally chat and hang out with other authors.

Come back when you have published your stories and put a link in this thread for people to go and find them. The other authors are good at giving feedback (and you can also get extra feedback in the Story Feedback thread).

:)

Ive been writing since 1970 and have yet to find any writing venue where the participants were sane and rational and competent. No such place exists. No such writer exists.

Do this, post your stories then slap your brow as you see all the flaws. It will spare you countless hours of quarrels with idiots here.
