Until Creidhne, my relationships had always been with older partners. Always. When i was in my late 20's, my Domme was in her mid-40's. My very first Dom (first real lover too, coincidentally) was 21 when i was 15. I think an age difference like that works really well, to be honest.

Until very recently I would only date much older men. That is, until I started thinking. Most of my past lovers are in their 60' and 70's now.

Right now I am quite content in having a Master 11 years younger than me.

The only rule that I have is that I will never date someone as young as my oldest child, and he's 22. Who knows though, that may change too one day.

hmm, I've thought a lot about this recently as I am quickly approaching 31. I've already stated in the other thread that I seriously doubt that I'd date somebody younger.

How old is too old? I still want a family and I think I still have time to do that. Although I was polietly informed by one of my pregnant younger friends that if I were to get pregnant now it would be high-risk because of my age. *sigh* Most men I've met who are 10 years older are either A. Divorced and have "been there, done that" or B. Wanting a mate, but don't want children. or C. Happy being a bachelor and would like a live-in lover or steady g/f, with the option to "opt-out" if things got boring.

I'm gonna say nomore than 6 years older...HOWEVER; there are soooooo many more things I value more important in a potential mate than age.

44 this year is my limit...my husband is 12yrs older than I am, which is more than I ever expected, but found that age doesn't really matter as long as the 2 are compatible. If I went much older though, I would feel uncomfortable...and like in the 'too young' thread, I would feel the same way, like I had to be the responsible one because I was older. Just my feelings, not the way it could or would be.
