I know.....there was a wierdo guy in Kansas City, that was kidnapping gay men, video taping their torture and evential death in front of an audience, then obviously selling the vids. One guy got lucky and escaped.

That's the only reason he got captured.

Scary thing, is the majority of citizines had had an encounter with him, cause he had a little shop in what's called 'midtown' of down town Kansas City, MO.

Hell, I had bought some shit from his shop, cause he was very artistic. He really had some cool shit.

Gave me the creeps when I found out what kind of guy he really was.

Luckily he died in prison, a few years after being captured.

The wierd thing is, nobody killed him, he died of natural causes.

As many of you know, I work at a center for homeless mentally ill people. I've got a really neat story about something that happened at work today to counterbalance this stuff.

One of my clients brought me a plastic bag that he found in an alley that contained a wallet with credit cards, ATM card, drivers' license, insurance cards, etc. inside. He had brought the wallet to the address listed on the owner's license to try to return it to him, but did not find anyone home. My client was afraid to continue carrying another person's wallet with him (until he could find the owner and return the wallet) because he was afraid that if he was approached by the police while sleeping in a park tonight, that he would be accused of having stolen the wallet. I helped him to track down and contact the owner, who was blown away by the honesty and consideration of my client. The owner came to the center to pick up his wallet and give its finder $100 as a "thank you." I found it all to be very moving.

Great story! I often think if more people trusted others to do the right thing, more would do it!
